Father God,
I worship You with all my heart. I want to know You
by reading Your Word, listening to You, going to church,
and being willing to forgive others. Thank You for good
teachers and help me to choose good friends. Help me to
obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will
live a long life on the earth. Help me to look for ways to
bless others. Thank you that because of Jesus, I am healed
and whole.

Ephesians 6:1
Moses and the Israelites were on a journey through the
wilderness. God provided manna for them to eat - a
wafer-like substance that tasted like honey. It would be
on the ground each morning. The people were to gather
only what they needed for that day. Some did not obey
and the leftovers spoiled. On the day before the Sabbath,
a day of rest, they were to gather enough for 2 days.
Manna would not be there on the day of rest. Again,
some did not obey and had no manna to eat the second
day. Obeying - following Gods directions - is important!
