Mepco Schlenk Engineering College(Autonomous),
Sivakasi, a leading self-financing technical institution
established in the year 1984 is affiliated to Anna
University, Chennai.
All Engineering programmes have been accredited by
the National board of Accreditation(NBA), New Delhi
under Tier I Category.
Accredited by the National Assessment and
Accreditation Council(NAAC) with A Grade.
All departments are recognized as research center for
pursuing Ph.D./M.S. by Anna university, Chennai.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The department was started in 2001, and it has grown
excellently in academic and research work. The
department is supported by experienced and well
qualified faculty members. More than 90% of the students
have been recruited by the leading IT organizations in
Campus Interviews. The department faculty members are
currently doing research on Big Data, Network Security
and Image Processing. Our students have received
National & State Level Awards for the BEST PROJECT
Development and Designing. Our Department is
accredited to NBA under Tier 1 category.
Objective of the Programme
Machine learning is one of the fastest-growing and most
exciting fields out there, and deep learning represents its
true bleeding edge. This workshop will help to develop a
clear understanding of the motivation for deep learning,
and design intelligent systems that learn from complex
and/or large-scale datasets. Workshop demonstrates how
to train and optimize basic neural networks,
Convolutional neural networks, and long short term
memory networks. Complete learning systems to solve
new classes of problems that were once thought
prohibitively challenging, and come to better appreciate
the complex nature of human intelligence as you solve
these same problems effortlessly using deep learning
methods.
