Dear Christina,
It is a pleasure to begin this letter, as I am aware of your unequal displacement. Assuming you
are in a place where all humans live and breathe the same air on the inside, as on the outside
incarceration is still a burden for all trapped in it.
I chose to write to you as a member of Pink and Black because of your graduation photo.
Appropriately so, I am a recent graduate with a degree in English and a double-minor in Dance
and Anthropology. Trust that your family and I am inspired at this irony of acquaintance where
you are unfortunately is a situation of irony knowing that it is a place where you wouldnt have
expected to be after such a achievement. I am filled with a sense of felicity as I allowed this letter
to be the first of future conscious reminders that there is still a divine teacher in your heart who
walks with you across the stage of life no matter where you are.
I applaud you with an audience of understanding, and I challenge you to hear with a sound
mindthe applause that intercedes for you and all that you desire in litigation of your freedom
from your current incarceration. While you pray, heaven stands with an open hand to commend
your endurance and strength to work. After every day being a test of faith and futility, salvation
is always waiting in your tears and cries for help.
Furthermore, I do not mind your letters of explaining the conditions of your incarceration. Feel
free to, and I am willing to commission advocacy if you feel the need to express certain
accommodations. Please consider me as a platonic activist with an ear for housekeeping. I reside
with fewer apprehensions to know that you are safe and well informed. Our ability to relate is
grounded by basic transparent boundaries and values expressed in the advocacy protocols
provided by Black and Pink.
I will try my best to be inclusive in this distant pen relationship on the account of your awareness
to approach me as a need for psychology growth. The best way to overcome extremes in
relationships is to understand the values of both sides. Much of our lives function with a desire
for receiving love and the joy in giving it makes selflessness a grateful experience. Trust that I
am a fun person to deal with the pragmatic things that people often go through alone without the
belief cultivated to be a part of a greater field of compassion.
It is my pleasure to forward this letter in reference to your conditioned stay imprisonment and I
hope the best for your completion and requital.
