12ME2004 SENSORS FOR ENGINEERING APPLICATIONS 3003
Aim To provide the basic knowledge and to understand the sensors used for measuring various physical quantities for various engineering applications Objective To understand the principles of measurement of various physical and dimensional quantities. To learn the methods of measurement and its application in manufacturing industries. To identify and select suitable measurement instruments for measuring parameters like strain, pressure, motion, light radiations, heat and temperature. To explain the different electronic sensors used in modern applications
