Most Common: M16A2(Non-removable carry handle, semi/burst), M16A3(Removable carr

y-handle, semi/full, frequently has handguards with accessory rails), M16A4(Remo
vable carry-handle, semi/burst, frequently has handguards with accessory rails),
M4A1(Removable carry handle, semi/full, occasionally has handguards with access
ory rails)
Notes about M16 family: M16s are incredibly accurate, even with iron sights. The
y're frequently used in 1,000 yard competitions to great effectiveness. However,
they're not reliable, especially without regular maintenance and lubrication. T
hey heat up quickly, build up carbon/copper fouling quickly, and the action is b
uilt into the stock. M4A1s have less range and accuracy, and are arguably even -
less- reliable. 30 round magazines are standard, but 20 rounders are not uncommo
n. 100 round Beta C-Mags (double drums) are available, but aren't used by the mi
litary.
