Wash down the surface and dry.

Scrape off lining or coating of the defective point with a knife or a grinder.
Then, polish the circumference of it with sand paper.

Storage conditions
CARBOGLAS 1601SG
Has a shelf life of six month minimum when stored at 24oC. Prolonged storage at
elevated temperatures will cause a reduction of shelf life to approximately.
90 days ..........................................................................................At 32~43oC
45 days ..........................................................................................At 43~54oC
30 days ..........................................................................................At 54~66oC
CARBOGLAS 1600 CATALYST
Is a strong oxidizing agent and should be stored separately.
In cases where storage temperatures are consistently over 24oC, it may be desirable
to refrigerate the product to preserve its reactivity.
Store and ship at temperature below 43oC.

Other surfaces
The coating may be used on other substrates. Please contact your local Jotun office
for more information.
Condition during application
The temperature of the substrate should be minimum 15C and at least 3C above
the dew point of the air. The temperature and the relative humidity should be
measured in the vicinity of the substrate. Good ventilation is usually required in
confined areas to ensure proper drying. The coating should not be exposed to oil,
chemicals or mechanical stress until fully cured.
Application methods
Spray Use normal airless spray or two-comp. airless spray equipment
Brush Recommended for stripe coating and small areas, care must be taken to
achieve the specified dry film thickness.

Mixing ratio
Choose quantity of curing agent, accelerator and inhibitor according to the table
below. Inhibitor and accelerator must be thoroughly mixed with Chemflake Special
before adding the required amount of MEK-peroxide. Mechanical agitation for one
minute or more.

prolong the shelf life considerably, while high temperature may lead to gelling in the
tin.
Caution: Use the repair material immediately after mixing, because the pot life
of it is short.
Weigh the repair material accurately on the scale.
Wear the protection clothing such as gloves, when you handle the
repair material.
Wash down with soap and water if you get the repair material on
your skin, or you will have a rough skin.
Keep the repair material and glass cloth at the dry place where is no
rain, water or sunlight.
Close the cap tightly after use.
