AIMS
-
enable children to learn and recognise spring season

Children learned that spring is the season after winter and before
summer. They recognised this season since they went to the park almost
every day and saw that trees and flowers produced different colours that
make it very beautiful.

- to explore and identify minibeasts

Through outdoor activities, children were able to explore and identify

various types of minibeasts. Some of those activities were catching
butterflies, searching spiders and a lot more.

-
to extend vocabulary and develop communication skills

Children were extending vocabulary by naming minibeasts such as; snail,

ants, caterpillar, butterfly, worm and many more. Every time they
explored minibeasts, they were talking each other using English and sang
songs about the particular minibeast.
OBJECTIVES

-
to understand the weather changes and know what to do during
spring

Children understand that this season the weather gets warm. They knew
that this is the time for planting in which they really did planting few
onions and observed from the very beginning until it grows.

-
to be familiar with minibeasts and aware its danger

When children saw few minibeasts inside the classroom, they called the
teacher for help while pointing and naming the specific minibeast, so
same thing they did when they saw minibeasts in the park.

-
to practice sensory motor skills

During planting and watering time, children were practising their motor
skills. They were also practising and developing those senses in making
artwork activities of some minibeasts.
