AIM
- S what is farm
enable children to know

Through reading books The Funny Farmyard and Old

Mcdonald, children knew that farm is an area of land used
for raising animals, growing plants and other crops.

- to understand what to do on the farm

Children learned that on the farm, farmers will raise

healthy crops and animals for a living not only for
themselves but for their population as well. They also
understand that without food, what might happen to us, so
farmer works hard every day to keep plenty of crops and
animal products to avoid that to happen.

to extend vocabulary and develop communication skills

Children learned new vocabulary such as farm, farmer,

crops, products, farmyard and so on. They were extending
these words in a sentence during the discussion and free
play time. Also, through flashcards, they were extending
words.
OBJECTIVE

- Children learned that not only a farmer lives on the

farm but animals as well such as cow, dog, chicken, pig,
horse and etc.

to recognise animals and know their products

milk produces by a cow, an egg produces by chicken and
so on.
