1.Pre-Requisites
1.1 Hardware Requirement
1. RAM - Minimum 8GB.

2. Hard Disk 50 GB.

3. OS Windows 7.

1.2 Pre-Requisites for Oracle Commerce v11.2

1. Install Java JDK Version 1.7.0_80(64 bit)

Note: JDK is required before installation of ATG because during the execution ATG Web
Commerces exe file, the installation wizard requires paths to a JDKs home during
Configuration for App Server step.

1.3 Java Installation jdk1.7 0_80

1) Right click on exe file of JDK,Run as Administrator and click on Next as shown.

2) Click on Change button and change the path of installation as shown and click Next.

3) Choose the JDK path as shown below and click OK.

4) Click on Next as shown below.

5) Change the installation folder as shown below and click on Next.

6) Wait till it is installed.

7) Click on Close as shown below.

2.Oracle Commerce v11.2 Installable Information

Important Note: All the below mentioned installable files MUST be executed using
Run As Administrator option in the Right-click menu.

3.1: Oracle Commerce MDEX Engine 6.5.2
1) Right-click on Ocmdex6.5.2-win64_962107.exe Run as Administrator and click on OK as
shown.

2) Click on Next.

3) Accept the License and click on Next.

5) Click on Install.

6) Click on Done after installation completes.

3.2: Oracle Commerce Guided Search Platform Services 11.2

1) Right-click on OCplatformservices11.2.0-win64.exe, Run as Administrator and click OK

as shown.

2) Click on Next.

3) Click on Next.

4) Select Complete and click on Next.

5) Click on Next as shown below.

6) Click on Install.

7) Click on Done after installation.

3.3: Oracle Commerce Experience Manager Tools and Frameworks 11.2

1) Go to the this folder V78231-01\cd\Disk1\install and Right click on setup
and choose Run as administrator and click Next.

2) Accept the License.

3) Choose Complete Installation and Click on Next as shown

4) Click on Next.

5) Select Install.

7) Click on Next and then Exit as shown below.

8) Select Yes.

9) Open Command prompt as Run as administration

Add C:\Endeca\ToolsAndFrameworks\11.1.0\server\bin this path

And then run install_service and then start_service batch file.

3.4: Oracle Commerce Content Acquisition System (CAS) 11.2

1) Right-click on Occas11.2-win64.exe, Run as Administrator and click OK.

2) Click on Next.

3) Accept the License and Click on Next.

5) Click on Next.

6) Click on Next as shown below.

7) Configure the path and Click on Next as shown below.

8) Proceed to Install as shown below.

9) Click on Done after installation is complete.

3.5 Verifying Endeca Installation

1. Once all the steps mentioned in Chapter 3 are completed, go to Windows Services (run
services.msc in Run command) and check if the following services are present and started:

a. Endeca CAS Service

b. Endeca HTTP Service

c. Endeca Tools Service
