In April 1975, the first Melting Pot opened in
Maitland, Florida, just outside of Orlando. It was
a cozy, quaint location with a simple, but unique
menu. Mark Johnston and his brothers immediately
saw the potential and scraped together funding to
open a second Melting Pot in Tallahassee in 1979.
Just two years later, the Johnston brothers opened
their second location in Tampa. As popularity grew,
the brothers knew they had something special and
purchased all rights to The Melting Pot brand in 1985
and established The Melting Pot Restaurants, Inc., a
new franchise company. From the start, Mark and his
brothers (Bob & Mike) were diligent in their search
for passionate entrepreneurs who were as excited as
they were about the concept and its potential. With
approximately 100 dedicated franchisees today, their
commitment to building a close-knit fondue family
has proven to be successful.

seeking the perfect opportunity to be your own boss, we are currently
offering single and multi-unit franchises based on the following:

minimum. The breakdown of Franchise Fees is as follows:

3-4 Units: $60,000 USD per unit
