About the Institute:-

Raja Balwant Singh College, Agra (formerly Balwant Rajput College, Agra), was
established way back in 1885 by Raja Balwant Singh Ji of Awargarh state. It is one
of the most prestigious educational institutes of Northern India with a legacy of
imparting quality education. A no. of prominent educationists, entrepreneurs and
political leaders of Northern India owe their education to this institute.

Faculty of Management and Computer Application (FMCA) was established in

1999 as a faculty of R.B.S. College, Agra under the aegis of Balwant Educational
Society for imparting quality professional education to all sections of the society
without any discrimination. In 2012 FMCA got upgraded as Raja Balwant Singh
Management Technical Campus, Agra (RBSMTC, Agra). This technical campus
is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (formerly
U.P technical University, Lucknow), approved by AICTE, New Delhi & MHRD,
Government of India for a number of value added professional courses.

With all modern amenities the RBSMTC is located in the lush green eco-friendly
Khandari Farm campus and is spread over an area of 4 acres. The institute is
located in the heart of the city and that too in the close vicinity of the Khandari
campus of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra.

The campus is well connected to all the major parts of the country via train and
road. The Raja-Ki-Mandi railway station is only 1.5 km away and the Inter State
Bus Terminal (ISBT) is hardly at a distance of 2 km from the institute.

About PGDM Program
(Post Graduate Diploma in Management)

The Institute offers a two years (Six Trimesters) full time PGDM program duly
approved by AICTE, New Delhi, MHRD, Government of India. The total
sanctioned annual intake for this program is 60.

This program is extremely prestigious and is rated as one of the finest of its kind in
the country. The basic thrust of PGDM program is on understanding the
independent nature of organizational dynamics and its managerial implications.
This shall help students to acquire conceptual and analytical abilities required for
appropriate decision making and effective implementation.

Raja Balwant Singh Management Technical Campus, Agra has taken an

initiative by introducing an industry focused PGDM program in order to cater the
increasing demand of the skilled management professionals in the industry and
therefore industry-oriented curriculum and practice-based teaching pedagogy are
the two important feature of this program.

The PGDM program starts with fifteen days orientation program helping the
students to build a strong foundation in the basic areas like Economics,
Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science and English proficiency.

The first year curriculum of PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management)

provides equality in understanding and comprehending the basics of various
disciplines and functions of business management and thus includes papers like
Principles of Management, Organizational Behaviour, Managerial Economics,
Business Environment, Accounting, Business Statistics etc.

The second year curriculum deals with various specialized functional areas of
management like Marketing Management, Human Resource Management,
Financial Management and Information Technology.

Moreover, Regular and frequent visits to the Industry across the country is an
integral part of PGDM curriculum.

Admission Procedure:-
The eligibility criteria for admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Management
(PGDM) isGraduate in any stream with at least 50 % marks (45 % for SC/
ST) in aggregate.

Selection Procedure:-CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA/GMAT Scores followed

by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
