Executive Summary
This reports is intended to provide information about portable computers and to give
recommendation for a suitable computer which can be utilized by training staff to use at
customers sites.
This report analyses two portable computers that can be used in commercial sector and can
house modern facilities including video call, e-mail and run complex enterprise software.

HP Pro-Book 450 G4 Core i7-2GB Graphics is a good portable computer with 7th generation,
dedicated graphics, 15.6 screen and VGA output feature. This computer is good for those who desire
speed, resolution, compatibility, usability and performance.

In comparison to HP Pro-Book 450 G4 Core i7-2GB Graphics, Lenovo Yoga 500 14 inches 360
Touch has 6th generation, dedicated graphics, 14 screen but not VGA output feature.

In order to make a decision the relevant features of both computers are analyzed and other
characteristics are also compared including performance, compatibility and price.

Given the analysis, it is recommended that HP Pro-Book 450 G4 Core i7-2GB Graphics would
be the most appropriate portable computer due to compatibility with existing software, resolution &
screen size, performance, initial cost and other key features.

1. Introduction
1.1. Purpose:

The purpose of this report is to analyze and compare two portable laptops with pre-
defined features and recommend one with the best feature to be used at client sites.
1.2. Scope:

The mandatory feature for which computers are analyzed include initial cost, weight
and size, screen size, clarity of image, RAM and hard disk size, Speed of the CPU, batter
and warranties.
1.3. Method:

The information discussed below was taken from a website www.mega.pk

The computers were compared online so physically were not touched
Software detail was missing

It has been assumed that implementation will be speedy and efficient
Further, it has been assumed that through bulk purchase there will be special
discounts and post-purchase services
Moreover like other computers, these computers will be compatible to run the
specific training-oriented software.
1.6. Background
The NIBAF is reputable institution of qualitative executive training courses for the
banking community. NIBAF has countrywide customer base and is intended to widen
scope of its trainings to other regions.
Given the high demand of customers to be supplied with numerous training courses,
NIBAF deems it necessary to have its staff access to computers for training
presentations.

3. Discussion
Both the laptops are of 7th generation. However, HP has maximum shared graphics
memory than that of Lenovo. Moreover, HP has fingerprint reader and numeric
keypad but there are no such features in Lenovo. Also HP has VGA output enabled
but Lenovo doesnt possess this feature. VGA output enables a device to be
connected to projector or digital TV. Along with these, HP has battery of 48Wh but
Lenovo has 30Wh. Not only this but HP has 720 HD webcam however, Lenovo
doesnt has such High Definition camera. Both have the warranty of 1 year.

4. Conclusion:
Given the above comparison and discussion it is crystal clear that HP Pro-Book 450
G4 Core i7-2GB Graphics would be the best option as per the requirements given
in the memo. With respect to initial cost, weight and size, clarity of the screen
image, Ram and hard disk size, speed of the CPU, battery capability and the
availability of on-going service agreements and warranties HP Pro-Book 450 G4
Core i7-2GB will be far better choice than Lenovo

5. Recommendation and Implementation:

Based on the above discussion it is strongly recommended that the NIBAF should
purchase that HP Pro-Book 450 G4 Core i7-2GB laptops. With respect to the
features discussed in memo this model is more compatible compared to Lenovo.

In addition to that its implementation wouldnt cost much as NIBAF regularly

updates this system and the staff has relevant expertise.
