GREAT START was called to win last time when getting her
second start at the meet; she dropped for $20,000 and took
sharp support and galloped away; she now goes back up to
the price of her previous event.
SAVANNA CITY has won both of her races going long; she
did have a good sprint race to begin last year then perked up
when sent long; she also starts this year in a sprint.
PARTYONTHEPATIO just missed in her seasonal bow in
2014 but was a fringe player in her return last year; her lone
success last year did come in a route but she travels six and
a half furlongs here with Olguin up for Sam Di Pasquale.
WOVEN LADY opened the season with a win at six and a
half furlongs then cut back to five furlongs last outing where
she rallied mildly; she now gets back to six and a half
furlongs.
KASUGA is worth considering; Wilson got along well with
her late last summer to record consecutive wins at this price;
she was boosted in value late in the year and her production
dried up; she has been busy with works getting ready.
NO SOUP FOR YOU seems to have a knack for effective
racing at five furlongs and that was the case in her latest as
she finished second against a speed favourite who had a big
edge; she now stretches out to six and a half furlongs.
NORQUAY disappointed at 2-5 May 18th when dropped in for
$20,000 and she chased hard between rivals and she was
finally beaten three lengths; she was claimed from that event
by Sam Di Pasquale and now doubles in price.
KY CAUSEWAY is an Ontario sire filly who has won two
events and she tackles open company here for $40,000 to
get this season going; she has won both sprinting and routing
and will go short in this return for Kevin Attard.
FLASHY PATCH is looking to make it three in a row; her
victory against Ontario sire company May 15th, was a
dominant speed win; she gets a relatively quick return and
has the speedy, Flower Dean, beside her in the gate.
FLOWER DEAN is a quick individual who had her perfect
record halted in her April 22nd seasonal bow from the difficult
rail post; she faded late; the sixth place finisher won recently;
she gets the widest post here and stretches to six and a half
furlongs; she has the quick Flashy Patch along side her.

MINDFUL CHATTER raced well in a series of events last
year including a run on grass October 24th where she was
reserved early and then moved far to the outside to close
vigorously to be second; this will be her seasonal bow and
she has picked up her training lately for Joe Walls.
MARCHERDOWNTHEALLY is by Marchfield who liked the
grass and this one will be discovering turf racing; she gets
her seasonal bow and now competes for Blair Miller; she has
been posting fast times on a variety of surfaces.
SPECIALCNSYDRATION was hoping to get onto the grass on
two occasions last season but both events were moved to the
synthetic surface and she lost out late in both events; she is a
daughter of Artie Schiller, a significant turf source; she enters
for turf here after a quick recent work in 59.1 for Michelle Love.
TALE REQUEST a homebred for Charles Fipke, is from a
dam who is a half sister to the three time Grade 1 winner,
Grand Couturier; she has stepped up her training lately for
Elizabeth Elder.
ATHDARA was second best in her debut at tiny odds then
second time out, got in with Ontario sire types, yet, wasnt a factor
and was shelved; the blinkers are on for this return; she is a half
sister to Zazinga, a stakes winner on grass; she is quick.
STREET CASH goes for the hot Stronach Stable and this one
will be seeing Woodbine for the initial time; he was third on turf
going short on a couple of occasions at Gulfstream; she will try
six furlongs here and figures to be a prepping factor.
ROCK THE BEAT a significant auction purchase, debuts here for
Mark Casse; she is from a dam who has produced seven winners
on grass; she worked here May 14th in 1.01.4 getting ready.
J M R FENDI is getting her first start of the season and is in
against difficult open company here for a chance to get back to
the turf, a footing over which she was on the edges last spring.
CONQUEST TIZFIRE debuted April 10th on Tapeta at just five
furlongs and ran out of ground on a speed surface that assisted
the winner; she has built up in recent preps and goes to the lawn
and does have one grass winning sibling.
PADDY POINT tried turf last September and was on the edges;
she began this season on Tapeta when only fifth; she is hoping
for progress on turf.
HAVEAWONDERFULDAY showed speed on the turf April 10th
at Gulfstream but backed away; she was moved to the care of
Sam Di Pasquale and she had a good speed effort here recently
to miss narrowly at five furlongs on Tapeta; she stretches out and
moves to the turf.
GOLD TO GLORY is one of several Ontario sire types in here
hoping for a chance to get onto the grass; she raced well on
Tapeta in her seasonal bow when a stout second against a key
winner; she was a useful fourth on the turf last October.
LADY JUSTICE an auction purchase for Mickey Demers, will
debut here at six furlongs on the turf and had a chance to breeze
on the training turf Wednesday morning in 50.3; Ryan rides.
FORESTRYS LUCK didnt do much running in her Tapeta debut
April 29th but now adds lasix and goes to turf and has a half
brother that is a stakes winner on grass.
COCA INN has tried the turf in the past without producing; this
will be her second start of the year and she was third in a middle
claiming event last time.
GRETNA GRACIE opened the season with a ninth place finish
against reachable runners but will now have an opportunity to get
back to the lawn, a footing she handled well last September.

JIMMIES TRUCK can improve in this second start of the meet; in
his seasonal bow, he lacked any speed then started from tenth
and rallied to third and had some of these behind him; he
stretches to seven furlongs and is hoping to conquer this distance
for the initial time.

TURN BACK TIME is hoping his return to Woodbine and a
synthetic surface will brighten his prospects; he languished
earlier this year at Oaklawn Park and Keeneland; he has had
a couple of five furlong works since returning for Mark Casse.
CASTELAO used a drafting style in his second start of the
meet when in for $20,000 but he was unable to threaten.
I AM WHO I AM typically picks route races but will try
seven furlongs here in his third start of the meeting; he has
been closing relative to the pace through the stretch.
DERRICK OF TYBURN should benefit from his April 22nd
seasonal bow for $40,000 and now he gets to drop for
$20,000; Campbell takes over in this spot; he reports interim
prepping.
WINSTANLEY returned May 6th and after eleven months off,
he was able to run himself into shape by jumping out on the
lead and establishing the pace; he comes back with just a
minor jump in value.
MIND MAGIC typically picks longer races than this but after a
troubled event May 7th when he was introduced locally, he will
shorten to seven furlongs; in that last event, he was knocked
hard at the break and stumbled; Garcia will take over.
PENALTY KILL was at a short distance when he opened this
season May 14th and he closed belatedly; he now gets extra
room; he rates attention.
NOTALONEINHISHEAD had a most unfortunate seasonal
bow May 8th; he was squeezed out with a furlong remaining
when he looked like the best but he landed on the edges; he
jumps in value for this second start of the session.

COPPERPLATE had an April 16th seasonal bow and took
sharp support; he committed to attending the pace and
stayed willingly in second with Marten Lake in third; he has
had some success on the grass; he worked smartly May 22nd
in 48.2 for Dan Vella.
STORMY ROCIT had a poor experience in the middle of
February at Gulfstream when attempting a quick comeback
with a move to the dirt; he had faired well in turf races earlier
in his career; he now gets back to the lawn; he has been here
for a series of works for Mark Casse.
BEAT GOES ON was imported from England to compete in
the Ontario Derby last September and he did well to be
fourth; he had two wins in England on the synthetic surface at
Wolverhampton last year; he will now try turf, a footing he
also competed over in Europe; this will be his seasonal bow.
STORMY RUSH had an April 16th seasonal bow and got first
run at the lead in mid stretch but then hung and Copperplate
was second and Marten Lake was third; he has kept busy
with four works this month getting ready for this shift to
the turf.
MARTEN LAKE opted for a speed style April 30th over a
surface much more helpful to closing types; he withered late;
he will be getting onto the turf for just the second time here;
he has been a positive fringe player since last summer.
SAMUEL DECHAMPLAIN had some luck early in his career
with stakes success on the grass; he lost his momentum late
last year and was behind in double digits in his seasonal bow.
PAT DADDY was delayed behind rivals April 30th but then stayed
on nicely right at the end to gain in third; he handles turf just fine
and now moves to the lawn.
ELIJAH attracted a claim for $40,000 by Robertino Diodoro
May 1st; he was narrowly beaten on that occasion after a
premature move to the lead; he worked recently on grass in 48.1;.
OCCASIONAL VIEW hit a peak in his seasonal bow when going
first time off the claim for Mark Fournier, April 30th; that seasonal
bow featured a strong rush in the stretch against a key winner
who has already come back with a key win; he is a one time
winner on the turf here; he worked recently in 59.1.
GO BRO was dominant in the stretch last time to take a first
allowance event on Tapeta; he very much likes the grass and
should look forward to moving to turf; he rates respect.
TURNCOAT ran some big races on the grass last season and
took a victory at a mile in July then was close by in a six furlong
event in the summer; this will be his seasonal bow and he
indicates two fast local preps for Laurie Silvera.

BREAKING LUCKY the Prince of Wales winner, had a couple
of runs this winter finishing third beaten a length in the
Challenger Stakes at Tampa and the winner was recently second
behind the favourite in an added money race at Monmouth; he
got a stern test in the Grade 3 Ben Ali at Keeneland last time
where he rallied to mid stretch then hung against a strong
winner who has since been second in the Alysheba; he has
been here both on Tapeta and the training track getting ready for
Gunpowder Farms; McAleney rides for Reade Baker.
PEYTON had a sizzling seasonal bow May 8th; he was wide
off the turn then rallied strongly in the stretch to be second beaten
a length in a second allowance event against a strong winner.
FLORIDA WON is now a three time stakes winner; he enjoyed
peak form last season for Mark Casse from early July through
early September; in the Presque Isle Mile, he darted on the rail
to win it under a perfect ride from Husbands; he has been getting
ready in Kentucky; he now competes as a gelding.
AMIS HOLIDAY the Breeders Stakes winner from 2014, is
looking for a breakthrough score in this return to Woodbine; he
last competed in March at Tampa where he was fourth about three
lengths behind Breaking Lucky; he has been here with Contreras
aboard for Josie Carroll; he is a homebred for Ivan Dalos.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME was superb in his big win in the Autumn
Stakes November 8th; he followed a wall and found room at the
right time to take top prize and that was his fourth career stakes
win; he began this year in a race at Keeneland on turf at the
Grade 1 Level but didnt keep up; he has been busy since
returning to Toronto with three significant works for Hall of Fame
trainer, Roger Attfield.
MELMICH ended last season in a blaze with victories in the
Elgin and Valedictory Stakes when hitting his peak; this will be
his seasonal bow and he goes two turns at first asking; he was
ready for his seasonal bow last year but is meeting tougher now;
Da Silva was aboard for a recent work in 1.00.4 for Kevin Attard.

MISS MANDATE was introduced to the circuit April 30th and
took it upon herself to be the pacemaker in a first allowance
event where she tried to steal the race; the racing surface
was much more helpful to closing types than to speed types
and she couldnt contain a rallying winner in the stretch and
landed second; she needs a breakthrough win.
LUCKBE TANYA woke up in her second start last November
when going two turns and she produced a late rally against a
well regarded winner; she got back with the girls February 5th
to start this campaign in Oaklawn Park but had a poor result;
she has been here for some time prepping; scratched out of
the Selene Stakes and will go here instead.
NINJA QUEEN managed a route win against Ontario sire
opponents last July but was a fringe player at best the
balance of the season; this will be her seasonal bow and she
goes long at first asking; she has had some nice preps for
Jennifer Creer.
BILKY BLUZ had positive campaigning last season and was
in some tough spots including a run last september when
second in a first allowance race; she failed to break through
for the season but was in the money six times and was still
running well in her finale against a key winner who has
already scored this spring; she has done plenty of prepping.
CRACK THAT WHIP won in her finale November 13th with a
significant rally against restricted company; she was
positively consistent throughout that initial campaign; she has
been prepared on the training track by Michael Mc Donald
getting ready to return.
RESERVE LOVE was getting her seasonal bow April 30th
and she ran well; she closed to mid stretch then settled for
third about two lengths behind Miss Mandate.
TRIGGER RINGER is a good galloping type who likes a test
of stamina; she started the year in a sprint and now gets a
much needed stretch out for Tino Attard.
SUPER SARAH improved many lengths in her second start
at the meet at six and a half furlongs; she drew off; she now
extends around two turns for just the second time in her life
and when she did it initially, she had a highly positive result
when second to Turn To Reality.
TURN TO REALITY is getting her first start of the year and
she built up good stats last season against Ontario sire rivals;
she is a big galloping type who was more forceful in her finale
to get her second score and she left Super Sarah behind her
in second; she has put in lots of preps getting ready.
ONE NIGHT had some interrupted campaigning last season
but was here for several races including a maiden score in
the spring of 2015 and a runner up finish last September
when she rushed in the stretch; this will be her seasonal bow
for H. James Bond and Campbell rides.
MY BETHANY is a Kentucky bred who debuted on the
synthetic surface at Kempton in November of 2015; she was
forceful in the stretch to win easily at long odds; she was
introduced here April 30th where this distance seemed to be
too short for her but she showed plenty of interest in the last
seventy yards; she has since had a work on turf and will now
add lasix and should improve for Roger Attfield.

THIS IS MY NIGHT was showing potential last summer when on
the edges and was facing key company at that time; it is just a
case of her readiness in this seasonal bow; she looks to have
potential; Campbell will take over for Paul Attard.
FAITH AND DESIRE a debut runner, was an auction purchase
and will go for Paul Attard from the widest post; she prepped
May 15th in 1.01.3 getting ready.
INPERSON improved second time out at the meeting May 6th
when stretched to a route; she was driving on the turn and finally
finished third; she was against the speed elements on that day;
she will shorten to a sprint.
PHOEBES COURT competed over a speed surface in her finale
last November 8th at a route when dropped in for $32,000 and she
couldnt persist on the lead; she now goes for Roger Attfield and
worked with some stamina recently in 1.02.2.
PHILSARA a lumbering type, will be better served by todays
longer distance; Moreno will take over in this second start for
Mike De Paulo.
STORMN CHLOE had a big work a week prior to her debut
May 14th and was a bit flat in that introduction after engaging in
a speed duel in the slower split; she looks to be a factor.
AIMER MIEUX an attractive individual, came home from Florida
to compete May 14th but had a poor result in the slower split of
an event; she stretches out.
NEW SENSATION raced well enough in a May 14th seasonal
bow that featured a sharp winner and a good debuting runner up,
Toriaezu Nama, who is also here; she goes farther.
TORIAEZU NAMA made a premature move in her opener from
sixth to the lead and then was finally second against a late runner;
she is a type who should appreciate the stretch to seven furlongs.
OFELIA GIRL had a couple of starts last season and will now
go for Pat Parente in this seasonal bow at seven furlongs; she
worked recently in 1.02.1 getting ready.
VICTORIAN LASS was unlucky in her opener when second then
hung in her second start when third at tiny odds; Husbands takes
over for Mark Casse; she stretches out two furlongs.
FLASHINTHEPANTS a homebred for Doug Anderson and
Rita Eskudt, is from a productive family and will debut here
at seven furlongs after her quickest work May 21st in 1.01.2b;
Da Silva rides.
CONQUER THE COURSE had a useful seasonal bow two weeks
ago when moving on to be fourth in the slower split; the extra
distance should be helpful.
PRINCESS NIIGON a debut runner for Joey Gee Thoroughbreds,
was an auction purchase and has stamina top and bottom in her
pedigree; she worked a half mile recently in 48.3 getting ready for
Dan Vella.
BOTTOMS UP showed some potential last November when
showing speed at seven furlongs; she landed a tight fourth against
a key winner and the third place finisher recently beat some of
these; this will be her seasonal bow.
GLIB MARILYN debuted May 7th but did not get into the fight;
more room is available here; lasix is added.
