1 Creation of PM Notification

Navigate to SAP Menu Logistics Plant Maintenance Maintenance Processing Notification

Create (General) Transaction Code: IW21.

Enter the following data and press Enter.

Notification type: M1

Enter the following data and press Enter.

Maintain the Task text and press Enter.

2 Release/Display of PM Notification
Log in to the system through the Login screen as shown on Page 2 of this document.

Navigate to SAP Menu Logistics Plant Maintenance Maintenance Processing Notification List
Editing Change/Display Transaction Code: IW28/IW29.

For Releasing PM Notification use Transaction Code: IW28.

Enter the Transaction Code: IW28 for releasing the Notification.

Click on Execute tab.

Select your Notification Number from the list and double click on it.

Click on Put in Process tab and then click on Save.

Note: For display of PM Notification use the same process with Transaction Code: IW29.

3 Creation of PM Order
Log in to the system through the Login screen as shown on Page 2 of this document.

Navigate to SAP Menu Logistics Plant Maintenance Maintenance Processing Order Create
(General) Transaction Code: IW31.

Enter the following data and press Enter.

Order Type: PM02

Priority: Low/Medium/High/Very High
Func. Loc: DEMO
Equipment: 10
Plng plant: DEMO
Bus. Area: 0001

Click on Continue .

Enter the following data and press Enter.

Mn.wk.ctr: DEMO / DEMO

Operation: Replace oil filter.

4 Release/Display of PM Order
Log in to the system through the Login screen as shown on Page 2 of this document.

Navigate to SAP Menu Logistics Plant Maintenance Maintenance Processing Order Order
List Change/Display Transaction Code: IW38/IW39.

For Releasing PM work order use Transaction Code: IW38.

Enter the Transaction Code: IW38 for releasing the work order.

Click on Execute tab.

Select your Order Number from the list and double click on it.

Click on Release and then click on Save.
