The Mini Extruder

This is a 2 part tool that extrudes liquid dough to make a ribbon pastry.
The TOOL has two separate parts that separate and snap on in order to be able to clean the inside of
the tool before and after use.

1. The top is like a LID.

2. The bottom is a hollow container call it the BASE.
Both the LID & the BASE have WATERWAYs very much like the cooling device used in computers
to keep the liquid dough at ~5o C. (We could use a thermoelectric cooler (TEC) but because of the
wet environment safety features take precedence).

Ice cold water is pumped and circulated thru the cooler plates that are in direct contact with
the dough.

I separated the Extruder into different layers.

The reason is that the water ways cannot be printed on a 3D printer.
These parts have to be made separately and eventually welded suitable to be manufactured .
This then can be moulded in the final manufacture. (We have Peweter or a suitable composite in mind)

Detail Description

The LID
This is straight forward.
Here are the photos.
The WATERWAY is the outer cover (the outer surface will be covered unlike the photo)
Again the photo illustrates the design only and as explained 3D cannot print the water ways. (May be
the technology has advanced)
The BASE
This is again straight forward.
Here are the photos.
The WATERWAY is the under surface (will be covered unlike the photo)
There is an extra component here called the SPACER. This is to add a little volume between the Lid
and Base.
Dough is pumped under low pressure from the inlet.
The Dough is extruded from the SPLIT a 1mm gap tip 63mm wide.

SPLIT

This is exactly like a Tupperware fix.

The Tongue is slightly wider outwardly at the TIP
