Evidence: The time is now

This evidence is divided into two parts: A composition and an audio file. Read the
instructions below and make sure you complete both tasks.

A. Answer the questions below. Use the examples as models of the grammar and
vocabulary you have to use.

1. Why didnt you study English before? (List at least 5 reasons in a

composition.)

Example:

One of the reasons why I didnt study English before it is because I thought it
was too difficult. I didnt understand my English teacher at school and that
was frustrating.
 - The main reason why i had not studied English before, was because i saw it
unncessary

- Another reason was because i studied my elementary school in a rural school

and we saw that subject by student requirement and not because we liked it
very much

- Did not understand and also did not pay much attention to that class, he saw
it as something impossible to learn

- I was frustrated not being able to learn easily the things that left us as Jobs

- We did not have the sufficient tools to see the matter, besides the primers the
gave us with those subjects was very confusing.
2. How different would things be if you had learned English before? (Name and
explain at least 5 things.)

Example:

If I had learned English some years ago I would have accepted a job a
multinational company offered me five years ago. One of the requirements
was to speak English and my level back then was very low.

- First for all, if i had learned English before, I would not feel so when i find
myself in need of speaking or understanding English and i succeed in doing so

- I would not have let pass the opportunities to leave the country in
commission of work with the company which i work

- I would have helped foreign tourists in several occacions when they ask me
something in English and i do not know what they are saying me

- If i had taken English before, I would not be so difficult to do these virtual

courses

- Would have served me too much in my studies

B. Record an audio file of yourself answering the following questions. Use the
examples as models of the grammar and vocabulary you have to use.
 1. Why are you studying English? (List and explain at least 4 reasons.)

Example:

Im studying English because I finally decided that if I want to improve my

professional profile becoming bilingual is essential.

2. In what ways are you going to benefit from this learning?

Example:

Being competent in English is going to increase the opportunities of landing a more

satisfying and better-paid job. We live in an international open market and English
is the most important language.

In this era, is necessary learn English because is a language universal, the biggest
enterprises require the knowledge from this, in my personal life i enjoy learn new
things
