1. Main Purpose of Position

Tocoordinateallactivitiesrequiredtodirectandcontrolmanufacturingquality.Inparticularto
reviewproductqualityrequirementsforindividualclientsandprojects,toensurethose
requirementsareunderstoodandimplementedtomanagethequalityofmanufactureditemsto
meettherequirementsofthecontractspecifications.

2. Specific Areas of Responsibility

QCManagement
Tocontinuouslyreviewqualitycontrolprocesses,proceduresandcapabilitiesinorderto
sustainthemostcosteffectiveandefficientmethodsformeetingqualityrequirements,and
makingrecommendationforimprovementasappropriate.
ReviewclientQCrequirementsandensurethatqualitycontroldocumentationforaproject
meetscontractualrequirements.
ReviewandapproveContractorandsubcontractorqualitycontroldocumentationto
ensuretheirplannedactivitiesmeetcontractualrequirements.

ResourceManagement
Tocoordinateandcontrolthedaytodayoperationsofinspectionpersonnel,soasto
provideasafe,secureandefficientworkingenvironment,ensuring;
Allplantandequipmentissafelyoperated.
Allphysicalresourcesaremaintained,storedandorganisedtoallowefficientand
effectiveoperation.
TocontrolanddirectallQCresources,operationsandfacilitiesinordertoadheretoproject
programmes.
Tomanageanddirectateamofskilled,semiskilledandtechnicallybasedindividuals
throughsoundpersonnelpracticessuchas;

Responsibleforsupportingthedevelopmentandmaintenanceofacustomerfocused
culturewithintheorganisation.
Supportthedevelopmentofqualitygoalsandtargetsaspartoftheorganisationsstrategic
plan
Carryout,asinstructed,anytaskasdeemedreasonablebytheHeadofAssuranceor
DirectorintheinterestoftheCompany.
