Os switches da famlia Nexus usam o NX-OS, que tem a sintaxe um pouco

diferente do IOS. Nada muito radical, mas ainda assim h algumas
particularidades que quem est acostumado com o IOS precisa se atentar.
Por exemplo, antes de configurar uma funcionalidade precisamos habilit-la
usando o comando feature(feature lacp feature vtp,feature telnet,) e
tambm o fato dele trabalhar por padro com VRFs.

Falando no Nexus5000, uma de suas caractersticas o fato de poder

gerenciar os FEXs (Nexus2000), que funcionam como mdulos remotos.
Configurao Inicial
Ao energizar o Nexus 5k ele ir ligar imediatamente, j que no possui um
boto liga/desliga. E com a console conectada (mesma configurao dos
demais equipamentos Cisco), aps o processo de boot, voc ver o
assistente de configurao inicial, que ajuda na configurao mnima do
equipamento.
A primeira informao solicitada a senha do usurio admin, pr-definido e
que no pode ser deletado. Voc pode criar outro usurio e especificar o tipo
(network-operator ou network-admin), opcionalmente.
As demais informaes solicitadas so a comunidade SNMP (read-only),
hostname, IP de gerncia (porta dedicada) e gateway desta VRF
(managment), se voc deseja habilitar telnet e ssh, configurao do NTP e
FCoE.

Com o setup realizado basta logar no equipamento, via ssh, se isso foi
habilitado, usando o usurio admin ou o usurio que voc criou.

importante notar que as senhas no podem conter $ (dlar) nem espao, e
tambm no podem ter aspas duplas ou simples( ), barra vertical (|) ou sinal
de maior (>) no incio da senha.
Para salvar a configurao basta usar o comando copy running-config
startup-config e para apagar a configurao o comando utilizado write
erase.
