If you intend to teach in England as a qualified teacher you will need to
obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), which is not included as part
of your iPGCE course; however, once you have successfully completed
your iPGCE, Tes Institute can offer you an accelerated route toward QTS

Who should apply?

Programme fees iPGCE and

The iPGCE programme is a part-time
programme spread across one
academic year.
You can pay your fees upfront or in two instalments. Please contact us for
more information.
VAT will be charged depending on the country that your school is in. If
your school agrees to pay all or part of your tuition fee they may be able to
recover VAT (if applicable). We encourage schools to consider meeting the
tuition fee and making their own arrangements, if they wish to do so, with
the individuals concerned.

We provide a range of support for your school and school mentor
on how to facilitate the programme, support you and monitor your
progress. This support and professional advice is delivered in the
school by a pathway tutor and online via our virtual learning platform,
Tes Learn.
How can
you apply?
The admission process (recruitment and selection) for this programme is
handled by Tes Institute. Once youve discussed the programme with your
school, please contact us to discuss the application process. Your school
will need to confirm that theyll support you on the programme with the
appropriate teaching hours and mentor support as part of the application
process.
