Design pressure: p= 0.2 p1 = 0.5 Mpa
Allowance stress: S = 128.9 S1 = 128.9 Mpa
Inside radius: R = 3200 r= 30.15 mm
Thickness t= 14 T = 2.77 mm

Minimum thickness of half-pipe jacket: Tmin = p1r/(0.85S1-0.6p1)

= 0.138 mm
Because Tmin 2.77 mm
Thickness of Half-pipe jacket is adequate.

Shell with half-pipe jacket:

If p1 > p >0, the follow fomula is necessary:

(p1-p)/|p1|1-(2pR/(4St))
(p1-p)/|p1|= 0.6
1-(2pR/(4St))= 0.8227
So, the condition is adequate.

Maximum allowable working pressure: p'=4St^2/((2r)^2+4rtcos90)(1+(2r)^2)/(4Rt))

= 0.5641 Mpa
Because p' 0.5 Mpa
Thickness of shell is adequate.
