THE GOAT AND THE TURTLE
Once, there lived a turtle named Torty.
One day, Torty came up to the beach to lay
an egg. At the beach there was a
mountain goat named Goffy and a vulture
named Vanny.
After laying an egg, Torty crawled back
to the sea. Vanny flew down. He wanted
to eat the egg. As he was about to pick the
egg, he was hit by a strong horn. It was
Goffy. Goffy took care of the egg until a
cute little turtle hatched out. Goffy liked
the little turtle. They became good friends.

YEAR 3
THE GOAT AND THE TURTLE
Once, there live a turtle named Torty, a
mountain goat named Goffy and a vulture
named Vanny. They were not friends. The
turtle lived in the sea while the goat and the
vulture lived on a mountain near the sea.
One day, Torty turtle came to the beach to
lay an egg. After covering the egg with sand,
Torty crawled back to the sea. Vanny the
vulture flew down to eat the egg. As he was
about to eat the egg, he was hit by strong
horns. It was Goffy the goat. Vanny flew away
for his life. Goffy looked after the egg until
one day, a cute little turtle hatched out. Goffy
called the little turtle son. He liked the turtle.
The little turtle liked Goffy too. They lived
together happily.

YEAR 4
THE GOAT AND THE TURTLE
Once, there live a turtle named Torty, a mountain goat
named Goffy and a vulture named Vanny. They were
not friends and they lived in the same area. The turtle
lived in the deep sea while the goat and the vulture
lived on a mountain near the sea.
One day, Torty turtle came to the beach to lay an
egg. After laying an egg she crawled back to the sea.
She did not know that the vulture and the goat were
there too. Vanny flew down to eat the egg. As he was
about to pick the egg, he was hit by strong horns. It
was Goffy. The vulture was hurt and flew away for her
life.
Goffy took care of the egg until one day, a cute
little turtle hatched out. Goffy greeted the turtle as
son.He took care of the little turtle as his own child.
He loved the turtle very much. The little turtle also
loved Goffy as his father. They lived happily together
even though they were totally different in appearances.

YR 5 & YR6
THE GOAT AND THE TURTLE
Once, there lived a mother turtle, a mountain goat and a vulture.
They were not friends but they lived in the same land. The turtle was
called Torty. The mountain goat was called Goffy and the vulture was
called Vanny.

One day, the goat was grazing near the beach. The vulture was
sitting on a branch of a tree. Soon, a mother turtle came out of the
sea. She crawled to the beach to lay an egg. Vanny was happy to see
the egg because he wanted to eat the egg. Torty buried her egg in
the sand and crawled back to the sea.

At that time Vanny flew down and picked the egg up. As he was
about to eat the egg, he was hit by strong horns. It was Goffy the
goat. Goffy did not like wicked vulture and chased her away. Vanny
was hurt and it quickly flew away for her life.

The goat took care of the egg until one day, a cute little green
turtle hatched out. Goffy was very happy. Goffy greeted the turtle as
son. He raised the little turtle as his own child. He loved the little
dearly and so did the little turtle. As the little turtle grew up, he asked
the goat for its shell. The goat had to tell the little turtle the whole
story.

In the end, Goffy told everyone the story. Torty the mother
turtle recognised her son. She thanked Goffy and she promised that
she will always bring the little turtle to the beach to meet Goffy.
Goffy was sad but the little turtle and his mother will always come to
visit Goffy. There were friends forever.
