Whole numbers are often called the counting numbers. A whole number is any
number greater than or equal to zero.

Whole Numbers {0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, }

A whole number is also called an integer, which means it is a number without a
fractional part or decimal part.

Whole Numbers Integers {0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, }

Here are some examples of fractional parts and decimal parts, which integers
cannot have.

Fractional parts 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/5,

Decimal parts .15, .25, .5, .99,
