ABOUT MY SELF AND MATRIC

My name is Precious Nhlapo I am 24 years old, I am from Tweefontein RDP in Mpumalanga province. I
started school in 1999 until 2013 when I was doing my matric. I matriculated in Phambili FET School. I
have passed my matric with bachelors degree,

ABOUT MY NYDA TROPHY

I always wished to be in varsity and do art because I used to participating in art doing drama I even won
a NYDA trophy in drama, but eventually I saw that I am a talkative person, person who is always motivating
others, and give positive advice to them.

In 2014 I performed in drama I won the trophy again, I was doing all that while in the other side busy
applying in varsity, I got a respond from UJ but I couldnt go there because I did not have money for
registration,

ABOUT MY COMPUTER CERTIFICATE

In 2015 I registered at UPBEAT youth center to do introduction in computer application technology for 12
months I graduated for the certificate in that course in 12 December 2015.

ABOUT BEING AN ASSISTANT TEACHER.

The feeling of graduating made me to want more in life, then I decided to look for job in 2016. Then the
Principal of Phambili FET School called me to come and be an assistance teacher in business, he also
helped me to apply in university of technology, by the time I was assisting they were paying me an amount
of R5000 per month and I was able to save R2000 in a month, I have been an assistant teacher for six
months and saved enough money to go to varsity.

ABOUT BEING A PETROL ATTENDENT.

I went to look for another job because where I was assisting they found a qualified teacher, I found the
job in a petrol garage, and then I started working there in august 2016 as a petrol attendant. I was earning
R3000 a month and able to save R1000 a month.

ABOUT VERSITY

November 2016 I received an acceptance letter from Tshwane University of technology, which they have
accepted me to come and do my degree in bachelor of education in FET. 2017 February I went there to
pay for my registration and I started with my studies.

ABOUT MY GSD PROJECTS

I created an educational game for accounting subject, and am going to use it for the next coming year as
my teaching aid, it is about accounting concept. This game will be very helpful for my teaching practical. I
got 72% on this educational game

I also created a poster for GSD. The poster was about business studies, topic: Three business sector for
this poster I got 66%, we study creativity. I enjoy being at varsity

.ABOUT MY TEACHING Practical

During the year 2017 on 18 April I was busy with my teaching practicals at Phambili FET school because
I once saw the need of me being in that school, most of the teachers in that school are the ideal teacher
they taught me very well, how to behave as a teacher and that respect is the most powerful thing in
teaching industry, and that the way I dress is the way my learners and community will respect me.

The way I presented my self is the same way my learners respected me. I did well in my teaching practical,
I really enjoyed being a teacher. I saw need of becoming a teacher, a teacher is not only a teacher but an
adviser, communicator, chancellor also a mother or father to learners. I would like to say to all teachers
out there. Be proud of being a teachers because a teacher is a mother of all professions. Right now am
looking forward to have my degree and go out there to teach those learners and also to study feather and
have PHD one day. I love teaching.

ME AND MY MENTOR.

I have been mentored very well by Mr. Mogale the accounting and business teacher he makes me to
repeat this words again, I love teaching.

The philosophy is that people must believe in something. According

to John Dewey, education is by its nature an endless circle spiral. It is an activity, which includes science,

because in its process, it raises problems to be studied which then reacts upon demanding more through,

more science in an everlasting sequence.
