Set up employees as users in the application

What is Identity Confirmation?

Salesforce.com confirms IP addresses in addition to user


login credentials
IP Address is added to the list of trusted IP addresses for the user
after first login
Computer Activation is needed when IP address of the
computer being used cannot be identified

Activation IP address is
Required web User clicks on the added to the list of
page with an activation link from trusted IP address
activation link sent email for the user
to the users email account

Trusted IP Ranges

List of trusted network address ranges that your organization


trusts for access to Salesforce.com
Users accessing Salesforce.com via a browser from trusted
networks will be allowed access without activating their computer
