HIGH EFFICIENCY ILLUMINATION

Compact horizontal luminaire designed for area and
roadway lighting applications. Optical superiority
of the anodized aluminum reflector and precision
refractor result in maximum light utilization. Avail-
able in LE.S. lighi distribution patterns Type ll,
ll-4 way {glass refractor only) and lll to econom-
ically illuminate any area with excellent uniformity,
low glare, and well designed light cutof{. Available
in mercury vapor and high pressure sodium.

INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE EASE

Exclusive
Breathing Seal
PROTECTIVE SEALS
Reflector and refractor are gasket sealed with
polyester fiber "Breathing Seal". This provides a
good mechanical gasket and filters contaminants
from enterinq the optical system, thus reducing
maintenance costs.
Unit features a "one-hand" trigger door latch and
integrally cast hinge for quick relamping or general
servicing. Lower housing is easily removed by
releasing hinge keeper. All units are furnished with
an internal four bolt slipfitter, adjustable for 1 % "
and 2" mast arms or fitter installations. Refractor
contorms to ANSI Standard C]36.14 and is mechan-
ically interchangeable with other refractors meet
ing this specif ication.

DESIGNED FOR DUBABILITY

Rugged construction- upper and lower housings
are die-cast aluminum with all hardware of
corrosion-resistant materials. Long lasting baked-
on acrylic enamel f inish gives added protection
even in hiqhly corrosive atmospheric conditions.
Standard finish is Munsell Grey-others available.
Unrt is designed for eff icient operation in
temperatures as low as -20o F.
