INTRODUCTION

Work life balance for every employees is highly desirable and if there is no job
satisfaction and consistency in life, it can create a dilemma in working, Work life
balance requires attaining equilibrium between professional work and personal
work, so that it reduces friction between official and domestic life. Finding a
suitable balance between work and daily living is a challenge that all workers face.
Families are particularly affected. The ability to successfully combine work, family
commitments and personal life is important for the well-being of all members in a
household. Governments can help to address the issue by encouraging supportive
and flexible working practices, making it easier for parents to strike a better
balance between work and home life.
An important aspect of work-life balance is the amount of time a person spends at
work. The ultimate performance of any organization depends on the performance
of its employees, which in turn depends on numerous factors. Work life balance is
a state of equilibrium in which the demand of both professional and personal life is
equal. Each role having different set of demands and when such role demands
overlap, multiple problems are faced. In reality life and work over-lap and interact.
In designing the policies employer should think that the commitment of employees
can make the differences with their competitor. Work life balance entails attaining
equilibrium between professional work and other activities, so that it reduces
friction between official and domestic life. Work life balance enhances efficiency
and thus, the productivity of an employee increases. It enhances satisfaction, in
both the professional and personal lives. The ultimate performance of any
organization depends on the performance of its employees, which in turn depends
on numerous factors. These factors can be related to work or family or both. The
relationship between personal and professional life can be achieved through
emotional intelligence. These factors can be related to job satisfaction or family or
both.

RESEARCH OBJECTIVE

The objective of this research is to study the work life balance of working women
and men in service sector. The research will be conducted among Women and Men
working in Education Sector with Reference to Moradabad city. This research is to
study the working environment and employee perception about the work life
balance and job satisfaction, who are working in education sector. Apart from it,
another significant objective is to study effects of work life balance on job
satisfaction, or how job dissatisfaction occurs with the withdrawal of changing
attitudes with the time spam and initiatives taken by the organizations for effective
work life balance and its relation with the job satisfaction.

To examine the varied and often complex problems of employees working in


colleges.
To study the effect of these problems on the work life balance of employees.
To do a comparative study of challenges faced by male and female
employees
To do a comparative study of challenges faced by permanent and adhoc
employees.
Tostudyeffectsofworklifebalanceonjobsatisfactionandinitiativestaken
bytheorganizationsforeffectiveworklifebalanceanditsrelationwiththe
jobsatisfaction.

Better emotion management is necessary in order to accomplish day-to-day


objectives of life this research is to explore the views of employees in education
sector, on issues that pertain to work-life balance. In terms of Indian context, the
concern over work-life balance is gradually becoming a common talk especially
for women employees.
