Hewlett Packard (2011-2012) - Sr. Data Center Transformation Engineer
Pivotal team member navigating a $60M+ strategic initiative involving transition of multiple Data Centers built on
Cisco Systems network equipment to the newly re-engineered next generation architecture (as a result of HP
acquisition of EDS), including updating of internal documentation to deliver a scalable and available infrastructure.
Accomplished transformation of 3 Data Centers within allocated timeline and budget, providing a critical upgrade
service to customers without unplanned outages. Role required deep understanding of the inner workings of Service
Provider customer interaction and networking, as well as complex Data Center Redundancy and Design
American Achievement Corp. (2010-2011) - VOIP (UC) Architect and Sr. Network Engineer
Designed a cohesive VoIP Unified Communications proposal presented to the CIO and executive board members to
upgrade 9 sites with disparate legacy voice PBXs, including in-depth CAPEX, OPEX, and TCO evaluations for
technology refreshes. Architected VoIP (UC) Infrastructure solution for Customer Call Center features and WAN
upgrade to QoS enabled MPLS, realizing 35% reduction in unplanned outages and 20% improvement in overall
performance. Served as technical author of first-generation IT protocols, appropriate use and security use policies,
resulting in enhanced network documentation and troubleshooting scripts
