The Grand Jurors for the State of Mississippi, taken from the body of good and lawful
persons of Bolivar County, First Judicial District, in the State of Mississippi, elected, impaneled,
sworn and charged to inquire in and for said County and State aforesaid, in the name and the
authority of the State of Mississippi, upon their oaths present: That

BILLIE EARL WILLIAMS

in said County and State

on or about January 2, 2017, did attempt to cause or cause serious bodily injury to Lindsay
Thomas purposely, knowingly or recklessly under circumstances manifesting extreme
indifference to the value of human life, by firing a pistol at Lindsay Thomas and striking him in
the lower right leg in violation of Section 97-3-7(2)(a) of the Mississippi Code, 1972, as
amended and

contrary to the form of the statute in such case made and provided, and against the peace and
dignity of the State of Mississippi.
