Homebrew Guidance
Hello there & Welcome to the 9th Age Homebrew . Please do have a look around the
great Homebrew section where the creative minds of the community come together
to discuss and create hobby material not currently in the 9th Age Rulebook. This
could be for instance, a new army, rules for battling through the local town streets, a
whole range of new scenarios to play, a terrain generator or anything that takes your
fancy. "What is the catch I hear you ask?", there isn't one, the possibilities are only
limited by your creative juices, however, in order for your homebrew idea to be
discussed here at the 9th age, we do require a few rules to be adhered to. Rather then
make your mind implode, we've made these short & to the point and easy to
understand in the format of questions.

Rule No.1 - Copyright, is it a requirement?


Okay this is fairly simple to understand, but it has to be said. You may not include
anything already copyrighted by another company. Whilst some words and concepts
are universal, others are not. Changing the "name" of the item or concept you are
copying doesn't work either. This also goes for stories, images, concepts etc. The HAT
team can offer assistance if required, but should we find any part of your Homebrew
breaches copyright of another company, it shall be removed without warning. We are
sorry this is a harsh treatment but we must pursue this policy in order to protect the
9th Age.

Rule No. 2 - When will / Can my Homebrew be made official?


The 9th age team has set its sights on producing a large range of army books, the
names and races of which have already been approved and beyond this, they have no
plans for more. Could this change YEARS down the line? Possibly, whom is to say, but
for the immediate and nearby future, no homebrew will become official 9th age
material. Bugging or asking any member of staff may result in your homebrew being
removed or worse.

Rule No. 3 - Why isn't my rule being incorporated into XYZ book?
The 9th age team has a solid team of people from all walks of life whose sole purpose
is to insure that all rules included in the books is fair, well thought out and is correct
for that book. Whilst the 9th age reserves the right to use any part of a homebrew (In
which case, your homebrew may be credited in the "thanks" section, we can not take
accept new rules from the homebrew section.

Rule No. 4 - What about Balance?


Your homebrew should be balanced. HAT, however, recognises that this is a journey
and not a final destination, so we ask that accept feedback from the community and
adjust your homebrew in recognition of the community feedback given.
Army Special Rules
Celestial Connection
All Models in Celestial Sons army are considered Musicians.

Appeaser
Monstrous Infantry Models in Celestial Son's army haven't Stomp special rule.

Blessed by the Storm


When the Parts of the Model with this rule do a successful charge, they resolve their attacks
with Initiative 10 in the first round of combat (Only Models without Great Weapon).

Gladiator
I. If the Model is challenging, The Parts of the model with this rule gains half of
enemy's attack (with no modifiers, from the part of the model with more attacks)
rounding up.
II. The Part of the model with this rule is Weapon Master.

Flows Hunter
The Parts of the Model with this rule reduce the enemy player's Energy
Pool Dice by 1 in the Player Reactive Phase.

Meditative Purity
I. None Model in the Celestial Sons army can be a Wizard under no
circumstances.
II. None Model in the Celestial Sons army generate energy dice in the Magic
Phase, neither in the Active Phase or in the Reactive Phase.

Armoury

Prayers Light (standard) (0-3 per army) Eradicator Longbow


Each Model alive with Prayers Light generates a dice Longbow. Range 24", Strength 4,
in the player's Reactive and Active Magic Phase. Multiple Shots (2), Hellfire, Quick to fire.
Each dice can Dispel any enemy successful Spell roll
a result of 4+. Successfully spells with Celestial Stinger
Overwhelming Power could be Dispel taking a result Pistol. Range 18", Strength 3, Multiple
of 5+. Shots (3).

War Candelabrum Celestial Crossbow


Shooting Weapon. Range 18", Strength 3, Multiple Crossbow. Range 18", Strength 5, Divine
Shots (8), Armour Piercing (6). Attacks.
