Obesity prevention and obesity in children based on the community taken with three
steps, namely: 1. Increase the physical activity of children, One of the physical activities in

provide adequate sports facilities for students to make students feel comfortable, safe, and
more motivated to exercise in school. 2. modify the child's diet, Currently high-calorie foods,
but low levels of nutrients and fiber in various fast food restaurants are easy to find in big
cities. Promotion is indeed recognized to be an effective means of increasing the market for
selling this type of junk food, including among children, which does not directly increase the
prevalence of overweight and obesity in children. Therefore, the government through health
department need to intensify health promotion and dissemination, in the nutritional aspects of
the community. 3.membagun public facilities supporting a healthy lifestyle
Each party has a specific role; the government can play a role in reducing the
prevalence of overweight and obesity in children by facilitating the development of various
public facilities that support healthy lifestyles, such as green open spaces, playgrounds,
recreational advice and exercise for the community.
Overweight and obesity in children have an impact on increasing the cost of a large
family health. Health costs incurred due to overweight and obesity can be divided into two: 1.
