Maltese Function Words and Pseudo-Verbs

There are some words in Maltese that, even though they are basically nouns, verbal forms or prepositions, are usually
translated in English as verbs or adverbs. For this reason, such words are usually called function words or pseudo-verbs.
Their usage involves possessive or direct object suffixes even when the subject is explicity mentioned in the sentence.
