Engine shutdown
1.- Condition Lever: CUT-OFF
2.- Prop Lever: FEATHER
3.- Fuel Firewall Valve: CLOSED
4.- Fire Extinguisher: ACTUATE IF REQUIRED
5.- Clean Up (Inop. Engine):
Bleedair Valve: AS REQUIRED
Engine Auto Ignition: OFF
Boost Pump: OFF
Fuel Transfer Pump: OFF
Crossfeed: CLOSED
Generator: OFF
Fuel Control Heat: OFF
Autofeather: OFF
Synchrophaser: OFF
Electrical Load: MONITOR

Engine fire on ground


1.- Condition Lever: CUT-OFF
2.- Fuel Firewall Valve: CLOSED
3.- Starter Switch: STARTER ONLY
4.- Boost Pump: OFF
5.- Fuel Transfer Pump: OFF
6.- Crossfeed: CLOSED
7.- Fire Extinguisher: ACTUATE (IF REQUIRED)

Engine failure during ground roll


1.- Power Levers: IDLE
2.- Brakes: AS REQUIRED
3.- If Insufficient Runway For Stopping:
Condition Levers: CUT-OFF
Fuel Firewall Valves: CLOSED
Master Switch: OFF WITH GANG BAR
Boost Pumps: OFF

Engine failure after lift-off (cant land)


1.- Power: MAX. ALLOWABLE
2.- Prop Rpm: FULL INCREASE
3.- Airspeed: MAINTAIN (TAKEOFF SPEED OR ABOVE)
4.- Landing Gear: UP
5.- Power Lever (Inop. Engine): IDLE AFTER AUTOFEATHER
6.- Propeller (Inop. Engine): FEATHER
7.- Airspeed: VYSE (AFTER OBSTACLES CLEARED)
8.- Clean-up (Inop. Engine):
9.- Condition Lever: CUT-OFF
10.- Bleed Air Valve: AS REQUIRED
11.- Engine Auto Ignition: OFF
12.- Fuel Firewall Valve: CLOSED
13.- Boost Pump: OFF
14.- Fuel Transfer Pump: OFF
15.- Crossfeed: CLOSED
16.- Generator: OFF
17.- Fuel Control Heat: OFF
18.- Autofeather Switch: OFF
19.- Synchrophaser: OFF

2nd engine flame-out


1.- Power Lever: IDLE
2.- Propeller: DO NOT FEATHER
3.- Condition Lever: CUT-OFF
4.- Conduct Air Start

Oil Pressure Low


1.- Oil Pressure: CONFIRM BELOW 40 PSI
2.- If Confirmed:
3.- Engine: SECURE

ENGINE POWER LOSS IN FLIGHT

Boost pump failure


1.- Crossfeed: cycle to determine engine with inoperative boost pump
Momentarily closed
Open
2.- Failed boost pump: OFF
3.- If continued flight with the crossfeed closed is required
4.- Crossfeed: CLOSED
5.- Engine with failed boost pump: monitor for excessive power fluctuations
If excessive power fluctuations occur, one or more of the following actions may help:
reduce power
Decend to a lower altitude
Wait for furl to cool
6.- Total time with the fuel press annunciator illuminated: 10 HOURS

Smoke and fumes: Electrical


1.- Oxygen: HANDLE ON, CONNECT/DON MASKS
2.- Cabin Temp Mode: OFF
3.- Vent Blower: AUTO
4.- Avionics Master: OFF
5.- Nonessential Electrical Equipment: OFF
6.- If Fire Or Smoke Ceases:
7.- Individually Turn On Equipment To Isolate
8.- If Fire Or Smoke Persists:
9.- Cabin Pressure Switch: DUMP
10.- Land As Soon As Practical

Smoke and fumes: Environmental


1.- Oxygen: HANDLE ON, CONNECT/DON MASKS
3.- Cabin Temp Mode: OFF
4.- Vent Blower: AUTO
5.- Left Bleed Valve: CLOSED
6.- If Smoke Decreases: CONTINUE OPERATION
7.- If Smoke Does Not Decrease:
8.- Left Bleed Valve: OPEN
9.- Right Bleed Valve: CLOSED
10.- If Smoke Decreases: CONTINUE OPERATION
