Follow the steps below to make an elbow of your tube/pipe:

1. Type VIEWPORTS, then (a) on Standard Viewports menu, click on Four: Equal, (b) on Setup
dropdown menu, click 3D and click OK command button.

2. On the fourth quadrant of the windows below (be sure to turn ON ORTHOMODE), type L (for line
command, click on the screen, then move down the crosshair and type 10, move the crosshair to the
right and type 10. (forming L)
3. Type C (for circle) and position your crosshair at the intersection point of two lines (perpendicular),
click, then type 10 for radius of the circle.

4. Trim the circle to make an arc 90 degree, by leaving the figure with this look,
5. Next make a circle at the bottom of the arc with radius of 2 and type offset with a distance of 0.2,
click the circle and then move the crosshair inside the circle and click, leaving the figure with this
look

6. On the ribbon menu , select SOLID, then


select SWEEP. Click 2 circles and press ENTER key and then select the arc
7. The figure will look
8. On the View menu of the HOME ribbon menu, change 2D Wireframe to Shades of Gray

9. This figure will look
