Revit MEP Assessment Test (Plumbing Services):

Notes to candidate before start of modeling:

1. Prepare water supply model as per fig. 1 (see page 2).

2. Prepare drainage model as per fig. 3 (see page 3).

3. Select correct pipe types from properties browser.

4. Assign proper system type of pipe to plumbing fixtures.

5. Apply sloping of 1:60 to all drainage pipes.

6. Size all pipes as indicated in Fig. 1 & 3.

7. Make sure all pipes are connected to the plumbing fixture connector. If connector/s are not available within

the family, just model the pipe and leave it unconnected.

8. Annotate and tag all pipes using pipe tags. Manual text is not permissible.

9. Use proper worksets, P-Piping for all pipes and P-Equip for all plumbing fixtures.

10. Indicate flow direction as shown in Fig. 1 & 3. Use generic annotation arrow symbol that is loaded in the

project.

11. Prepare water supply 3D view as shown in Fig. 2 and apply view template Plumbing-3D_Water

12. Prepare drainage 3D view as shown in Fig. 4 and apply view template Plumbing-3D_Drainage_LL & HL

13. Duration of test: 1 hr.
