Abstract
Soil is a fundamental component of the natural and finite environment, consisting of minerals, air, water, organic matter,
macro and microorganisms that perform permanent biotic and abiotic processes, fulfilling vital functions for society and
the planet. It is fundamental to land, territory and cultures; It supports human life and activities, ensuring the
environmental rights of present and future generations. However, soil can deteriorate and after this occurs, recovery is
difficult, costly, time consuming and in some cases it is impossible to return to the initial state. In laboratory practice the
soil texture was determined using the Boyoul solution method (Hexametaphosphate and Sodium Carbonate) and the
organoleptic method (Tacto) to determine the amount of sand, silt or clay that is composed according to the samples
Supplied by the laboratory and identify the type of soil is according to the triangle of soil texture classification by the
USDA.
