Napolon Route Commemoration of june 1815 in Fleurus from 13th to 17th june Napolon
stayed in the Chteau de la Paix in the night of 16th to 17th june 1815. To celebrate this anniversary,
many events are planned : reconstructions of the Emperors bivouac in the park of the Chteau de
la Paix, visit of the Cteau, exhibitions, and a reconstruction the Emperors bed room, remebrance
ceremony at the monument aux Trois Victoires Franaises and show at 19.15pm at the chteau
de la Paix, period son,gs, the movie Duellists by Ridley Scott on big screen Chteau de la

21/06 Saint-Jean March


Thousand-year-old city Gosselies is doing its best to keep intact its traditions by reviving an ago-old
rite: the exit of the Saint-Jean Tour. You will see the impressive show of the Saint-Jean-Baptistes
procession and the cortge of knights, sappers, infantrymen, grenadiers, musicians and young
shepherdesses, cheered on by the crowd.

EXHIBITION
Exhibition June 1815 Napolon in Charleroi - until 13th september from tuesday to friday from
9am to 5 pm, on saturday from 10am to 6 pm and on sunday from 12 am to 6 pm.June 1815 was the
last Emperor Napoleons campaign. To celebrate the 200th anniversary of Waterloos battle,
Charleroi decided to devote a big exhibition to it in the Palais des Beaux-Arts : Ju815 napolon
in Charleroibecause Charleroi was the hub of his last campaign. You will see many worthy unique
items. - Palais des Beaux-Arts, place du Mange in Charleroi.Guided tours for individuals with at
least 4 persons on 1st saturday of the month at 11 am on demand. Price : 7,50 free for children

Exhibition Lin Xiang Xiong Between East and West until 6th september The exhibition at the
Bois du Cazier, for the first time in Europewithin the framework of Mons 2015, counts 29 painting
on rice paper of the artist. Thuis event makes up the prelude to the exhibition of a group of huge
sculptures named zealous China wich will take place at the former Abattoir de Mons from 4th

The collections of the Museum of Fine Arts shows the big movements in Belgian painting from the
19th century to today, with a particular link to the area. From neoclassicism to current approaches,
