Terrorism is perhaps the greatest enemy of man in the modern world. Terrorism has been described
variously as both a tactic and strategy; A crime and a holy duty; A justified reaction to oppression
and an inexcusable abomination. Obviously, a lot depends on who point of view is being
represented. Terrorism has often been effective tactic for theweaker side in a conflict. They kill,
spread fear for the civilians. UN has been declared for seriously combating those murderer-called
groups that have been spreading fear for civilians and violates UN's main goal to create conducive
and peace circumstance. As member of UN, Australia must to arrange a strategy for prevent and
combating terorism movement

Australia was hit by the first terrorism incident in 1978. There has been a bombing in sydney hilton
hotel. There were 3 casualties. On December 15, 2014, there has been a 16-hour hostage taking
place at cafe lind. The perpetrators carry a black flag in hand with Arabic script which is believed to
be the flag of al qaeda. There were 2 fatalities in the tragedy. We do not want this incident to
continue and recur. To counter terrorist acts, australia believe:

1. Prioritize defense and security by allocating additional funds to defense and security fields such as
Intelligence, defense and weaponry agencies. Formed a special force to deal with acts of terror.

2. Establish an early warning system on acts of terrorism by means of public information to inform
the level of awareness of terrorism to minimize the risks that may occur.

3. Provides socialization of terrorism to all citizens about the importance of combating terrorism and
supporting the entire government movement. In this case to reduce recruitment from terrorist
organizations.

4. Gives the idea of cooperation and coordination as a whole with other countries. Whether it's a
state or government and also non-state actor. NGOs.

With this picture, the Australian government wants to declare that the solution to terrorist acts is
that we must coordinate with each other to counter terrorism, because we know that terrorism is
the enemy of modern civilization today. All interventions are needed to stop terrorism. The
Australian government will expressly provide all forms of support by gather and facilicate to counter
terrorism and even prevent the movement of terrorism from the surface of the world.
