Spreader Beam 3000t

Application
The spreader beam is designed for the purpose of
lifting loads up to 3000t with a spreader distance
of 11m. Optionally enlargeable to a length 25m.

System Components
The spreader consists of four main components:
- Spreader beam
- Upper swivel plate with rollers
- Lower swivel plate Technical Specifications
- Shackles WLL: 3000t @ 11m
O.W.: 30t (shackles incl.)
The upper and lower swivel plates are connected Certification: Lloyds Code for Lifting
to the spreader beam with a beared shaft. For easy Appliances in a Marine
rigging the swivel plates can be fixed in a Environment, August 2009
horizontal or vertical position with an additional Environment: Offshore
locking pin. For maneuvering the swivel plates Temperature: -20C to 45 C
into this position, lifting rings are added.
Features / Innovations
To enable a light design, all the occurring forces
are concentrated to the main shafts. Because of
this clean design the spreader beam will only have
to withstand longitudinal forces.

These main shafts and swivel plates are made of

high quality steel, resulting in a lightweight
construction.
