Innovative Input, situated in Ridderkerk, The Netherlands,

was founded in 2001 by Piet Kalkman, former head of engi-
neering at Huisman and prides itself on a well-established
reputation for innovating new products within the on- & off-

HOW DOES IT WORK

ROBUST The Rotator works on the principle of converting poten-
tial energy to kinetic energy and storing that energy in
the Rotator, ready to be used.
When lifting a load the hook of the Rotator, which is con-
nected to a hydraulic cilinder, will be pulled down. This
extends the hydraulic cylinder.
The oil in this cylinder is forced through a generator
which turns this motion into a electrical energy and
charges a battery. This hydraulic fluid will be stored in
an accumulator. The electricity can then be used by an
electric motor to rotate the hook.
When the load is put down, the hook and cilinder return
to their original position.
The Rotator is then again ready for a new lift.
