DUA LIST

Dua of Adam (A.S) to Allah in repentance

Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not, and bestow not
upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers.
Al-Araf verse 23

Dua of Yunus (A.S) repenting to Allah in the belly of the whale

None has the right to be worshipped but You (O Allah)], Glorified (and
Exalted) are You [above all that (evil) they associate with You]. Truly, I have
been of the wrong-doers
Al-Anbiya verse 87

Dua of Ibrahim a.s for ones family & righteous children

My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [many] from my


descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication.
Ibrahim verse 40

Dua of Ibrahim a.s for forgiveness for his parents:

Our Lord! Forgive me and my parents, and (all) the believers on the Day when
the reckoning will be established.

Dua of Yusuf a.s for Allah to make him die as a muslim:

My Lord, You have given me [something] of sovereignty and taught me of the


interpretation of dreams. Creator of the heavens and earth, You are my
protector in this world and in the Hereafter. Cause me to die a Muslim and join
me with the righteous.

Dua of Pharaohs wife

My Lord, build for me near You a house in Paradise..


Tahrim verse 66

Dua of Prophet Ayyub a.s in distress

My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, so forgive me..


Qasas verse 16

Dua of Prophet Zakariyya a.s asking for heir

My Lord, do not leave me alone [with no heir], while you are the best of
inheritors. (28:16)

My Lord, grant me from Yourself a good offspring. Indeed, You are the Hearer
of supplication (3:38)
Our Lord! Bestow on us endurance and make our foothold sure and give us
help against those who reject faith. (2:250)

Our Lord! Take us not to task if we forget or fall into error. (2:286)

Our Lord! Lay not upon us such a burden as You did lay upon those before
us. (2:286)

Our Lord! Impose not on us that which we have not the strength to bear,
grant us forgiveness and have mercy on us. You are our Protector. Help us
against those who deny the truth. (2:286)

Our Lord! Let not our hearts


deviate from the truth after You have guided us, and bestow upon us mercy
from Your grace. Verily You are the Giver of bounties without measure. (3:8)

Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and the lack of moderation in our doings, and
make firm our steps and succour us against those who deny the truth.(3:147)
Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and efface our bad deeds and take our souls
in the company of the righteous. (3:193)

Our Lord! And grant us that which you have promised to us by Your
messengers and save us from shame on the Day of Judgement. Verily You
never fail to fulfill Your promise. (3:194)

Our Lord! Place us not among the people who have been guilty of evildoing.
(7:47)


Our Lord! We have sinned against ourselves, and unless You grant us
forgiveness and bestow Your mercy upon us, we shall most certainly be lost!
(7:23)

Our Lord! Bestow on us mercy from Your presence and dispose of our affairs
for us in the right way. (18:10)
Our Lord! Forgive us our sins as well as those of our brethren who proceeded
us in faith and let not our hearts entertain any unworthy thoughts or feelings
against [any of] those who have believed. Our Lord! You are indeed full of
kindness and Most Merciful (59:10)

Our Lord! In You we have placed our trust, and to You do we turn in
repentance, for unto You is the end of all journeys. (60:4)

Our Lord! Perfect our light for us and forgive us our sins, for verily You have
power over all things. (66:8)

Our Lord! Make us not a trial for the evildoing folk, and save us by Your mercy
from people who deny the truth (10:85-86)

Our Lord! Lay open the truth between us and our people, for You are the best
of all to lay open the truth. (7:89)

My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house a believer


and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the
wrongdoers except in destruction (Nuh:28)
My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed
upon me and upon my parents and to do righteousness of which You
approve. And admit me by Your mercy into [the ranks of] Your righteous
servants (27:19)

O Allah, I take refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, weakness and laziness,
miserliness and cowardice, the burden of debts and from being overpowered
by men.

O Allah, it is Your mercy that I hope for, so do not leave me in charge of my


affairs even for a blink of an eye, and rectify for me all of my affairs. None has
the right to be worshiped except You.
There is no deity but Allah, the Knowing, the Clement. There is no deity but
Allah, Lord of the Magnificent Throne. There is no deity but Allah, Lord of the
heavens and Lord of the earth and Lord of the Noble Throne. [Sahih Bukhari]

O Allah, I ask You for Paradise, O Allah, protect me from the Fire
