SIGNOS

It's been already thousands of years since the Earth became the habitat of human race.
Different continents comprise different natural structures, wherein we used it as our
home, source of food and other daily remedies that could help us from our needs. Also,
these structures could also protect us from natural calamities or unexpected
catastrophes. But, as the time goes by, there are events that are inevitable that could
devastate our lives because changes happen everyday. Events like diseases,
unexpected occurrences, famine, and deaths of animal. These events occur because of
wrong activities that people do to nature, either land, air or water. And, the main cause
of these events is "CLIMATE CHANGE".

The manifestations of experiencing climate change are; sudden increase in

temperature, where CO2 gases are dominant on the atmosphere; Epidemic diseases
like Malaria, Dengue, deaths of animal, and destruction of structure like ice bergs,
mountains and etc. Eventually, these manifestations could make peoples' lives suffer.

In today's time, there are a lot of activities that people in each country engage with. Coal
mining, extraction of natural gases/minerals beneath the ground or water, Powering of
Nuclear Power Plants for advancement of technologies, Logging of Trees, and turning
rural areas into industrial areas. Actually, these activities could help our lives to become
more productive and to be able to turn our surroundings into industrialized areas that
could lift our way of living. But, the consequence of doing these activities is deterioration
of our nature's capability to withstand unexpected events, and turn things into worse
case scenario.

While watching the short film, I realized that it is an eye opener for us to address the
effects of climate change that we are all facing right now. It is sad because of the fact
that we are gradually destroying our home by engaging ourselves to do things that
could harm our surroundings. And, I am guilty for doing things that shouldn't be done.
Also, I realized that it is a must to be responsible on our surroundings through cleaning,
segregating and vanishing unnecessary things that could add on our problems. Actually,
marginal group people will be the most affected group when abnormalities may come,
and if they would be able to overcome these events, another problem is waiting that
would make them suffer. Suffering from sustaining daily needs is a critical problem that
should be avoided, people might take advantage and establish an unjust service to its
countrymen through selling products that are high in price but small in amount. This
should be fixed and reconsider the problem they are facing.
So, to sum-up my reflection. It should be mandatory for all of us to have concern on our
surrounding with the help of government and civic service people through nurturing us
with different knowledge on how to decrease, avoid, and deal with upcoming
catastrophes. And, I know that climate change cannot be vanished easily but we could
gradually reduce its effect through concerning ourselves with nature
