We will conduct awards drawings at this year's National Environmental
Conference at Tar Creek which will be held September 26-27 at the NEO
College Ballroom.
Issues to Consider:
Free Yard cleanup is done by DEQ after it is sampled and high levels
of lead is found in the soil or driveways
Children protect themselves from lead poisoning by washing their
hands, avoiding dust, taking off their shoes when they come in the
house
Children 6 years and younger need blood lead checked
