I.Name /Title of Project/Training

CONDUCT OF CAREER ADVOCACY PROGRAM

II.Rationale

This is proposed to address the needs of the Grade 10 to 12 students of Munguia

National High School in line with the goal of the K to 12 Basic Education Program to
produce, graduates who are ready for higher education, middle level skills development,
employment and entrepreneurship.

III. Project/Training Description

This training /program spear headed by the Guidance-Designate with the cooperation
and support of the School Head ,faculty and staff serve to help direct the students to
choose the right course in the future and to be well informed with the different value and
demand courses not only today but in the near future to avoid mismatch /misfit in their career
choice

This also envisioned to prevent waste of resources and time thus will lead them to
have a happy and satisfying life.

IV. Training Goal and Expected Outcomes

After this training the students and parents shall have;

1.Acquired information on

discovering ones strengths and developing awareness

the qualification standards for all types of career jobs
making informed decisions on career choice

2.Developed awareness and appreciation of

 the available jobs/choices in the labor market
their needs, interests, aptitudes and inclinations

3.experienced

careers they are aiming at

matching their interest with the possible career in a given array of choices
identifying a career fitted to ones interest

V. Target Beneficiaries

This training proposal is intended to all Grade 10-12 students and their
parents, class advisers of Munguia National High School

VI. Funding and budgetary Requirements

Expenses to be incurred during the training will be drawn from the School
Activity Fund of the School.

VII. Target Date

The target date will be on July 26,2017 at 7:30 AM at the school Gymnasium
