Training hard at Pinon Canyon

Chaplain’s Corner
Be a battle buddy
What does it mean to be someone’s battle
buddy? In scripture there are countless
examples of what a battle buddy looks like.
In 1 Samuel: 20 Jonathan risks it all; his
relationship with his father, his status as prince
and even his life in order to save his dearly
loved friend, or battle buddy, David.
In the New Testament of the Bible is the
ultimate example of a battle buddy, when
Christ is lifted upon the cross.
When I look at all these men who were
willing to sacrifice it all for their battle buddies,
I often wonder; if called upon to, would I be
able to do the same?
Blessings
