Distinction between Temporary and Perpetual Injunction

Temporary injunction is such are to continue until a specified time or until the
further order of the court. This may be granted at any period of the suit.
On the other hand, a perpetual injunction can only be granted by the decree
made at the hearing and upon the merits of the suit.

Temporary injunction is given for a specified period.
On the other hand, perpetual injunction can only be granted by the decree made

Temporary injunction is regulated by Code of Civil Procedure, 1908.
On the other hand, perpetual injunction is regulated by Specific Relief Act,
1877.

Temporary injunction is not finally disposal of a suit.
On the other hand, perpetual injunction is finally disposal of a suit.
