Product Sika GroutPack -1 is solvent free, non-staining, one-component,

Description silicone polymer based sealant, which is specially designed for repairing
cracks in concrete construction. Sika GroutPack -1 is used to
temporally fill in cracks prior to the injection of resin.

GroutPack -1 temporally fills in the concrete cracks

Advantages Suitable for indoor application.

Over-painting after removal of the temporal sealant
In combination with Sika GroutPack -439, clean finish can be
obtained.

How To Use
Surface Preparation Prior to the application of Sika GroutPack -1, Surface must be clean and
sound. Surface Preparation Work: Coated face-Remove the coating
from repairing area.
Exposed Concrete- treatment with Sika GroutPack -439 reduces traces
of temporal sealant.
Cartridge installation Set Sika GroutPack-1 soft cartridge into its cartridge holder. Attach the
nozzle to the end of cartridge and insert the cartridge into applicator gun.
Cut the nozzle at 45O.
Application Extrude Sika GroutPack -1 and seal along with the line of crack, and
press Sika GroutPlug -A applicator firmly onto the sealant.
The plug must be placed within the tack-free time.
Allow temporal sealant to cure as per the recommendations before
injection of resin.

Removal After the curing of injected epoxy resin, remove Sika GroutPlug -A first,
then Sika GroutPack-1 ( temporal sealant)
Limitations Application to substrates with rough, porous surface, temporal sealant need
to be pressed down in order to makes sure the contact surface is adhered
firmly. Otherwise, loose adhesion may cause resin leakage during
injection. Please consult Technical Service for further application
suggestion.
First Aid In case of skin contact, wash immediately and thoroughly with soap and
water. If symptoms persist, consult a physician. For respiratory prob
lems, remove person to fresh air; if symptoms persist, contact a physi
cian.

Clean Up Dispose of in accordance with current, applicable local, state, and federal
regulations.
