SH Steady End Hose

Steady end hose reduces risk of injury

With the development of the SH end hose

(SH: "Steady Hose"), Putzmeister has
been able to reduce the risk of injury
when placing concrete with booms.
While previous concrete end hoses
reacted to uncontrolled pressure chang-
es in the concrete e.g. in the event of
trapped air or when a blockage was
cleared with strong lateral deflections,
these unpredictable and at times perilous
excess vibrations have now been signif-
icantly reduced with the new, damped
end hose (SH).

It was possible to "tame" the concrete

end hose by using a special design of

reinforcing fabric with which the strength
of the deflections could be significantly
reduced in comparison with other end
hoses.
