SAFETYINFO
Ordering Parts for your McNeilus Mixer

Original McNeilus parts are specially engineered and designed with carefully specified steels.
These steels are tested for quality and consistency in both chemistry and strength. They meet
exacting requirements for each particular application. Welding processes are monitored and
tested for quality and integrity. Each type of weld is carefully and consistently applied to insure
maximum strength. Even the type of welding wire is specially ordered to meet the requirements
of the particular application. There are many imitators out there without the design analysis,
engineering or CAD-CAM capabilities of McNeilus. Often times their parts look identical.
However, without the same steel specifications, welding procedures and exact design
requirements, these imitations are not the same as McNeilus original parts. In some cases, in
addition to not lasting as long, they can cause genuine safety hazards. They may expose you,
your employees or your customers to injury or worse. Our parts are designed with safety and
long life as our top priorities.

Keep your McNeilus Mixer all McNeilus!! The parts on your mixer have been selected from the
best quality parts available. Were proud of the quality built into your McNeilus Mixer! Protect
your McNeilus Mixer and its warranty by using the top value quality parts supplied by your
conveniently located McNeilus Factory Direct Branch.

When ordering parts for your McNeilus Mixer we will need your mixers Model and Serial
Number. If the component is a cylinder, hydraulic pump, etc., there may be model and serial
numbers on the component that will help identify the correct parts.

Give your McNeilus Parts Department Professional all of the information you can. Be as specific
as possible when ordering replacement parts. Your McNeilus Parts Department Professional will
ship orders the same day as they are received whenever possible.

If you have a UNIT DOWN situation and require special shipping of parts, just let us know!
Well expedite the parts to you. We offer UPS, FEDERAL EXPRESS, and nearly any other
freight company you require to get your parts FAST!! With McNeilus there are no special
handling charges to expedite an order.

Anytime McNeilus finds a way to improve our products, we introduce the improvement into
production as soon as possible. For this reason we may have an improved replacement part
which will retrofit your mixer. Many times these product improvements are available to you for
less than the original part. Check with McNeilus first for all of your mixer replacement parts for
all makes and models.

McNeilus Field-Proven Fin Design

1/4 Hi-Strength Spun 3/16 Abrasion Resistant Pre-Formed and

Formed Head Steel Shell Machined Roller Track

New Revolutionary 3/16 Abrasion Resistant 3/8 High Carbon Completely Shot
Fin Design Steel Fins Wear-Rods Blasted and Primed
Exceptional loading, mixing and discharge performance is provided by the low C.G. drum.
Construction is 3/16 AR steel with a MINIMUM thickness of .187. This is a higher minimum
than standard 3/16 so you get a full 3/16 of material. Dual flights of replaceable hi-carbon
wear rod are positioned on the mixing fins to deflect concrete away from high wear areas.
This revolutionary design significantly extends fin life. Anti-surge fins provide a smooth, even
flow of concrete while discharging higher slump mixes.

New
Revolutionary
Fin Design

Rear Fins now contain additional "WEEP-HOLES". Clean-up now

penetrates deeper into the rear cone area to help prevent concrete
build-up on the rear side of the fins and to speed clean up in general.
