VENDOR APPLICATION
Application is accepted for any Craft, Flea Market, Independent Distributor (Avon, It Works, Scentsy, Etc)
and Food Vendor on a First Come basis. Branded Independent Distributors will not be duplicated and we
will accept the first to apply and make full payment. Any duplicates submitted will be notified and returned.

Spaces with electric will be located under picnic shelter shared with other small food vendors. All Small
Food Vendors must comply to all regulations under Bi-County Health policies for Farmers Markets and/or
Craft Fairs. Refer to Illinois The Cottage Food Law at www.ilstewards.org/policy-work/Illinois-cottage-
food-law for guidelines.
All Food Trailers must be licensed and comply with all policies of Bi County Health. Your license must be
displayed.
Please Print and Complete this application and include PAYMENT in FULL.
Applications that do not have payment included will not be accepted.
VENDOR RULES AND GUIDELINES
All Vendors accepted to participate in the First Annual Frankfort Community Park District BooFest must
agree to follow all rules and guidelines set forth by the FCPD Board and BraxArt Theatre Project. Anyone
who refuses to follow said guidelines may be asked to forfeit their participation without refund. This is a
family friendly event and we want to ensure that the atmosphere remains as such throughout the
festival.
Applications should be received no later than Sept. 30, 2017. Late applications will be accepted until
October 20, however, there will be NO discounts applied for applications submitted after the due date
and there will be an additional $10 late fee added to the regular booth space fee.
Craft/Distributor & Small Food Vendors will be expected to participate and be open 2 days
Saturday, October 28 at 10AM 6:00 PM
Sunday, October 29 from Noon 6:00 PM
Any vendor who closes early any day during the festival may not be approved to participate in future
events held by the FCPD and BraxArt Theatre Project.
This is an outdoor festival. In the event of inclement weather, in which the ENTIRE festival may
be canceled, vendors may request a full refund or choose to surrender their payment as a
DONATION toward the refurbishment of the Band Shell. To receive a FULL Refund, you must
contact the event coordinator verbally or in writing within 2 days from the event cancellation.
If the event is only shut down (due to weather) for any number of hours and not the entire
festival, NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED. Funds will be used as intended for the event.
Vendors are encouraged to use tents for their booth space. Preferably one with sides that can
be closed during the evening hours if you wish to leave any tables, chairs, display units, etc.
There will be security personnel in place 24 hours per day throughout the event. However, the
Frankfort Community Park District and/or BraxArt Theatre Project WILL NOT BE held responsible
for the loss or theft of any items left overnight during the event.
You may take down your merchandise at the close of each day and set up again the following
day. Tents, tables, display units may be set up and left for the duration on the event if you
prefer. We do encourage you to take your merchandise with you at the close of each day.
Set up for Saturday will begin at 7 am. You may close any time after 6PM on Saturday.
Set up for Sunday will begin at 9 am. You may close any time after 6PM on Sunday.
INDEPENDENT DISTRIBUTORS
There will be NO Booths selling same products. We will have room for ONE Independent
Distributor for each popular product. For instance, there will be only ONE Avon Representative
accepted. (The FIRST one who completes and submits their application with payment.)
PROHIBITED ITEMS
Knives, firearms, alcoholic beverages, and any item not keeping with a family event are
strictly prohibited from the festival.
SMOKING POLICY
Smoking will be prohibited in or around booth spaces. Vendors who wish to smoke should move
to designated smoking areas. We want to make this show and festival comfortable for
everyone. Please be kind and respect others.
PARKING
Vendors will be allowed to load and unload merchandise in the designated loading
zones during set up and close up times ONLY. You will be allowed ONLY 30 minutes for
loading and unloading. All Vendors will need to park their personal vehicles and/or
trailers in the designated vendor parking area ONLY. You will receive a map and parking
permit once your application has been processed and accepted.
I hereby agree to follow all the rules of the BooFest and all Federal, State and Local Laws and
Regulations. I understand that BooFest will be held on specified dates, regardless of the
weather and that there are no alternate dates planned for the event.
