Holiday Wishes

Holiday wishes to you my dear,

for Christmas time is finally here.
May all your dreams come true this year,
and your home be filled with Christmas cheer

Poem Title: Christmas

Christmas is more than tinsel

more than presents 'neath the tree
A time to gather with family and friends
and spread the holidaycheer

A season for joy and gladness

and tell of a Savior's birth
It's a time for great jubilation
a time for peace on earth

It's a time to give praise

to God in heaven above
But mostly it's the time
for generosity and love

Merry Christmas!

Poem Title: Christmas Wish

Wishing you a happy Christmas

for you and all of yours
May this special season
be an opening of many doors

May the peace that it holds

fill your heart and mind
For the birth of a Savior love
is what your heart will find

Merry Christmas!

Christmas 2006

Here's a simple Christmas wish

That I send just to you
I hope your day is happy
And filled with love through and through

I hope your dreams and wishes

All come to be
I wish you a Merry Christmas
I wish you were here with me

Dear Friend

It is that time of year

When we feel that glow,
From having the ones
Whom we love to know,

That we are sending

Our thoughts, our hearts
And our dreams,
To our very dear friends
No matter how far it seems.

May our love

Travel swift
As the star light
At night,
To reach your bedside
With warmth and delight.

Merry Christmas, dear friend,

And to your loved ones too,
Never forget that we are
Thinking of you!

Friends are forever

At a time like this,

when there is joy and love in the air,
I remember all the times you were there for me,
all through the year,
in my ups and downs,
through my thicks and thins,
I wish you the very best this christmas and an especially prosperous new year.

Christmas Wish

My very special Christmas wish

is just to have you here
To feel your arms around me
and have your presence near

You light up the Christmas tree

with a warm and cheery glow
You're the present 'neath the tree
with the biggest bow

Christmas just isn't Christmas

if you're not here with me
Come make Christmas merry
the brightest there can be

Merry Christmas Dear!

Poem Title: X'mas

It only comes once a year,

with children laughing,
and trying to spot reindeer.
With silver bells ringing from their collar,
they prance without a hollar.
Just sit back and enjoy,
a cup of hot cocoa,
and a bundle of toys.
Don't eat too much turkey, remember that
Because Christmas doesn't mean for you to get fat.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.
But remember be good and don't start a fight!

MY FRIEND

M is for MY friend, a truly special person I hold so dear,

Y is for YOU, that person who by my side is always here,
F is for FOREVER, the time I know our frienship will last,
R is for REMINICING, of the times you've been there in the past,
I is for INSPIRATONAL, for the way you've dealt with troubles through the years,
E is for EMOTIONS we share, whether it's laughter, love or tears,
N is for NEVER doubting that your frindship will always be mine,
D is for DOUBLE the happiness, I wish on you my friend, at Christmas time!
Holiday Wishes

Holiday wishes
to you my dear,
For Christmas time
is finally here.
May all your dreams
come true this year.
Have a Merry Christmas.

Night before Christmas

On the night before Christmas

when everyone's gone to sleep
The night is dark and silent
and the crispy snow is deep

The sound of ringing sleigh bells

in you'll hear in the night
You'll see eight tiny reindeer
one with his nose so bright

You may hear quiet footsteps

creeping on your roof
Next day you'll see footprints
if you want your proof

Santa made his visit

with his bag of toys
Just as he promised
to good little girls and boys

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas To My Friends

Hope this holiday season

brings you lots of joy
May the blessings of the season
be yours to enjoy
Sending you glad tidings
with loads of good cheer
Know that you are always
in my heart held near

Merry Christmas!2005 Mary E. Carpio

Poem Title: A Friendly Greeting Card

I forgot to wash my hair today...

There was so much I had to do!
I was even late to my homeroom...
Because I took a number two.

My glasses broke, my eye was poked,

I had to squint all day!
And when I did, I swore I saw...
Rudolph in lingerie!

My pants fell down, my fishies drowned,

I was kicked out of Algebra again...
But it wasn't my fault, because it isn't assault...
If you poke your teacher with a pin!

I forgot my homework, I missed the bus,

I ran out of pencil lead.
On top of all that, I accidently mixed in...
My whites with a shirt, bright red!

But I didn't forget about my friends!

So don't feel so blue!
Here's a Merry Christmahanakwanzakah!
From me, to all of you!

Poem Title: The Colors of Christmas

Red, white, blue, and green...

the colors of lights on the Christmas
tree. Silver and gold... garland or beads,
also wrapped around the Christmas tree.
Green... for mistletoe, you know what
that means. White... the White Christmas...
I've dreamed about for years, as well as
the star that signified... the birth of a King.
The Colors of Christmas, lovingly...
are there to remind us... of the
wonders this holiday can bring.

Poem Title: A Christmas Wish

It's cold outside on this Christmas Eve night,

The children are sleeping, dreaming of Christmas delight.
The stockings...the tree...the presents wrapped with a bow,
Still it's not Christmas, without a blanket of snow.
Snowflakes start falling, such a wonderful sight,
Now I can rest, It's a true Christmas night.
My Christmas wish, it came from above,
Now it's my time to share the love.
Before I sleep, I have but one wish...A Merry Christmas for you,
Merry Christmas to my God sent Angel and your whole family too.

CHRISTMAS SPIRIT

The red, the green, the gold, and white,

These are the lights you see at night,
With silver icicles hanging from a roof
And tracks in the snow of a deer hoof,
The songs of Christmas you hear on the radio,
All the lyrics you already know,
The Christmas Season you can tell is here,
Little children are full of lots of cheer,
They made a toy list for Santa you see,
Of toys to bring Christmas Even and to put under the Christmas tree,
The lights, the laughter ,the holiday Spirit,
You can see it and feel it and hear it,
The Christmas Season is a beautiful time,
I wish it were all year, that would be fine

Merry Christmas To My Special Friend

I may have forgotten to ask

What you want for Christmas
And so I am sending you
The best I ever had

Especially selected
Amongst the finest one
And handled with care
Along the roads of life

Wrapped with encouragement

Understanding and humility
And sealed with a bond
Of fondness and sincerity

Yes, I am sending you

The best I ever had
With all my LOVE...
MERRY CHRISTMAS
To a very special friend!

IT'CHRISTMAS AGAIN

It's chrismas again

a time to forgive old hurts
a time to heal old wounds
a time to cherish old friends
a time to make new ones
a time to merry and be happy
a time to make others smile too
But more importantly,
a time to let you know that
I really do love you.

A Christmas Gift

In this box wrapped in a bow.

Is more love than you could know!
So as Christmas comes, once again.
I'm sending love to my special friend!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Poem Title: Christmas Wishes

Sending you wishes,

They come in three's
Peace, Love & Happiness
To you from me!

Merry Christmas

The night before Christmas

It was the night before Christmas

And you were sleeping in your bed
Dreaming of presents and candy
That were danceing in your head

The night is very quite and calm

Not sound or anyone in sight
But the snow was falling all around
Madeing the sky shine so bright

A tree standing in the front room

All decorated and with lights
Stockings hung on the fire place
As Santa comes througth the night

Santa Clause is coming

Santa Clause is coming
in his red suit of silk
so don't forget to leave
out some cookies and milk

He is leaving some presents

under the Christmas tree
so tell him what you want
when you sit on his knee

He'll only comes around

once you are fast asleep
so remember not to be sneaky
because those presents he will keep

Here is the instructions for the

the night of Christmas Eve

A Wonderful Time Of The Year

Decorating the tree

before Christmas day
Getting ready for family
before coming their way

Hiding the presents

from the kids not to see
Wrapping them carefully
putting them under the tree

Hearing Christmas carols

on every station of the radio
Hearing the same songs
everywhere you go

It's almost Christmas

that wonderful time of the year
When snowflakes are falling
and everyone's full of cheer

Happy Holidays

During this holiday season,

I will say a prayer for you .
For a safe and blissful holiday,
And happiness in all that you do.

May your days be filled with love,

From your families and friends.
May your journeys all be blessed,
On a road of harmony that never ends.

So look for the Christmas star,

Twinkling in the sky so bright.
And remember this prayer I send to you,
May Gods blessings be with you and yours tonight.

Christmas Presents

My presents I send to you are not found in the store.

My presents are without a price tag..
yours now and forever more.
I send you love pure and true.
From my heart...only to you
I send you dreams to dream and rainbows to.
Love to last your whole life through.
Warm kisses, tight hugs and lots of I love yous.
My hand to hold when life's journey
seems to be all up hill.
I promise I'll be there still

If you see a fat man ...

Who's jolly and cute,
wearing a beard
and a red flannel suit,
and if he is chuckling
and laughing away,
while flying around
in a miniature sleigh
with eight tiny reindeers
to pull him along,
then lets face it...

Your eggnog's too strong!

Christmas Story

'Twas the night before Christmas--Old Santa was pissed.

He cussed out the elves and threw down his list.
Miserable little brats, ungrateful little jerks.
I have a good mind to scrap the whole works!

I've busted my ass for damn near a year,

Instead of "Thanks Santa"--what do I hear?
The old lady bitches cause I work late at night.
The elves want more money--The reindeer all fight.

Rudolph got drunk and goosed all the maids.

Donner is pregnant and Vixen has AIDS.
And just when I thought that things would get better
Those assholes from the IRS sent me a letter,
They say I owe taxes--if that ain't damn funny
Who the hell ever sent Santa Claus any money?

And the kids these days--they all are the pits

They want the impossible--Those mean little shits
I spent a whole year making wagons and sleds
Assembling dolls...Their arms, legs and heads
I made a ton of yo yo's--No request for them,
They want computers and robots...they think - I'm IBM!

Flying through the air...dodging the trees

Falling down chimneys and skinning my knees
I'm quitting this job there's just no enjoyment
I'll sit on my fat ass and draw unemployment.

There's no Christmas this year now you know the reason,

I found me a blonde. I'm going SOUTH for the season!

I THINK SANTA CLAUS IS A WOMAN

I hate to be the one to defy sacred myth, but I believe he's a she. Think about it.
Christmas is a big, organized, warm, fuzzy, nurturing social deal, and I have a tough time
believing a guy could possibly pull it all off!
For starters, the vast majority of men don't even think about selecting gifts until
Christmas Eve. It's as if they are all frozen in some kind of Ebenezerian Time Warp until
3 p.m. on Dec. 24th, when they -- with amazing calm -- call other errant men and plan for a
last-minute shopping spree.
Once at the mall, they always seem surprised to find only Ronco products, socket
wrench sets, and mood rings left on the shelves. (You might think this would send them
into a fit of panic and guilt, but my husband tells me it's an enormous relief because it
lessens the 11th hour decision-making burden.) On this count alone, I'm convinced Santa is
a woman. Surely, if he were a man, everyone in the universe would wake up Christmas
morning to find a rotating musical Chia Pet under the tree, still in the bag.
Another problem for a he-Santa would be getting there. First of all, there would be no
reindeer because they would all be dead, gutted and strapped on to the rear bumper of
the sleigh amid wide-eyed, desperate claims that buck season had been extended.
Blitzen's rack would already be on the way to the taxidermist.
Even if the male Santa DID have reindeer, he'd still have transportation problems
because he would inevitably get lost up there in the snow and clouds and then refuse to
stop and ask for directions. Add to this the fact that there would be unavoidable delays in
the chimney, where the Bob Vila-like Santa would stop to inspect and repoint bricks in the
flue. He would also need to check for carbon monoxide fumes in every gas fireplace, and
get under every Christmas tree that is crooked to straighten it to a perfectly upright 90-
degree angle.

Other reasons why Santa can't possibly be a man:

o Men can't pack a bag.

o Men would rather be dead than caught wearing red velvet.
o Men would feel their masculinity is threatened...having to be seen with all those
elves.
o Men don't answer their mail.
o Men would refuse to allow their physique to be described even in jest as anything
remotely resembling a "bowlful of jelly."
o Men aren't interested in stockings unless somebody's wearing them.
o Having to do the Ho Ho Ho thing would seriously inhibit their ability to pick up
women.
o Finally, being responsible for Christmas would require a commitment.

I can buy the fact that other mythical holiday characters are men...

o Father Time shows up once a year unshaven and looking ominous. Definite guy.
o Cupid flies around carrying weapons.

o Uncle Sam is a politician who likes to point fingers.

Any one of these individuals could pass the testosterone screening test. But not St. Nick.
Not a chance. As long as we have each other, good will, peace on earth, faith and Nat King
Cole's version of "The Christmas Song," it probably makes little difference what gender
Santa is.

I just wish she'd quit dressing like a guy!!!
